Great job today, Winnie Cooper! Great job! Her recall, leave it, and drop it were great! We tested her a few times going outside, pretending training was over…watched her through the camera to see if she would go into the forbidden table area. She was caught twice, 3rd time she didn’t go.

Before you only look at the behavior, look at the whole dog. 🧠

The gut and brain communicate continuously through the gut-brain axis. That means behavior can’t be separated from the rest of the picture: nutrition, digestion, stress, environment, physical health, exercise, and training all play a part.

11 mth old Ruby was noticeably calmer today! Mom says she was noticeably calmer all week! We worked on drop it, preventing possession aggression, stay, asking for permission, and more impulse control!

Newly rescued Raven had a great first lesson! We will be working on leash walking, calmness around squirrels and rabbits, and basic manners!
