Mount Peter is located in the heart of the Hudson Valley just a short drive away from the NY-NJ metro area. We are known for many things: our famous Free Beginner Ski and Snowboard school, our great snowmaking and expert grooming, an awesome terrain park and our top-notch racing, development programs and tubing. Welcome to our 87th season. We are grateful for the past 86 years, and we are looking forward to the many more great seasons of skiing and riding to come. Mount Peter is a great place to hang out with friends, meet new people and reconnect with family. Take the day, come and play! So much, so close!

ONE MONTH UNTIL TUBING SEASON!
Who’s ready for some winter fun? From laughing with friends on the way down to heading back up for another run, tubing season is ALMOST HERE, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

Tubing is planned to open November 28, and tickets will be going on sale soon! Keep an eye on our page for updates so you can get your tickets early and start planning your tubing day.

Fall Fest 2026 may have been a little rainier than we hoped, but that didn’t stop us from having a great day at the mountain!

Thanks to our amazing customers and vendors, we were able to pivot, bring the fun indoors, and still enjoy a day filled with live music, great food and drinks, and wonderful local vendors. It may not have been the Fall Fest we originally planned, but it was a reminder that the best part of any event is the people who show up and make it special.

To everyone who came out and spent part of their Sunday with us, thank you for being part of Fall Fest! And a special thank you to our vendors for rolling with the weather and helping us make the day happen. We appreciate you all more than you know!
