We’re officially counting down to another season of Gold Kings hockey!

A huge thank you to WCA-TV and Dan Hogan for sitting down with our owner/player, Russ Childers, to talk about the upcoming season, the continued growth of the Colonial Hockey League, and the Boston Gold Kings!

And we’re excited to announce that WCA-TV will once again be broadcasting our home games this season, giving fans who can’t make it to the John A. Ryan Skating Arena the chance to follow the Gold Kings from wherever they are.

After back-to-back appearances in the league finals, we’re ready to get back to work and chase another championship.

Thank you to WCA-TV, our fans, sponsors, players, and the Watertown community for continuing to support Gold Kings hockey.

The Boston Gold Kings are excited to announce the return of Ryan Bertone for his fourth season in black and gold!

Ryan has battled through a lingering injury and the rehab that came with it, limiting his time on the ice over the past two seasons. But now, he's healthy, back to work, and ready for a fresh start.

After showing what he could do during our inaugural season, Ryan is looking to get back to being the player we know he can be and remind everyone exactly what he brings to the ice.

The Boston Gold Kings are excited to announce the return of Jon Lounsbury for his second season in black and gold!

Jon brings a unique level of experience to our blue line, with minor professional hockey experience and years of knowledge as an elite hockey trainer working with some of the best players in the world.

Last season, Jon put up 11 points in 12 games, including 3 goals and 8 assists, proving that despite being one of the older players in the league, he can still compete with — and hold his own against — anyone on the ice.

His experience, hockey IQ, and ability to help develop the players around him make Jon an invaluable part of this team.

The Boston Gold Kings are excited to welcome Bruce Green Audette to the organization for the upcoming season!

Bruce brings plenty of experience to the Gold Kings blue line, having played 76 games across his time with the East Coast Spartans, Malden Catholic, and New Hampshire Avalanche. Along the way, he’s proven he can contribute offensively from the back end, recording 22 points.

But Bruce's hockey résumé extends well beyond junior and high school hockey. He is also a member of the U.S. Deaflympics Hockey Team, representing the United States at the 2025 Deaflympics in Vancouver, where Team USA brought home a silver medal.

We're excited to add a defenseman with this much experience to the Gold Kings blue line and can't wait to see what Bruce brings to the team.

The Boston Gold Kings are proud to announce the return of Chris May for his fourth and final season in black and gold.

May is one of the most important pieces of our locker room. While he's one of the oldest players on the roster, he continues to bring the same energy and effort every time he steps on the ice. Practice, game, preseason, or playoffs — May gives it everything he's got.

But what really makes May special is what he brings to the room. You can always count on him to make you feel better, get your head right, and have you ready to go when it's time to hit the ice. Whether a teammate needs a laugh, a little encouragement, or just someone to get the room fired up, May is always there.

His impact on this team has never been measured solely by what's on the scoresheet. He's the kind of teammate who helps hold a locker room together and makes everyone around him better.

Did you happen to spot any of these Gold Kings at the rodeo last night?

Hockey may be what brought us together, but the friendships we build go far beyond the rink. Yesterday, some current and former Gold Kings got together to enjoy the New England Rodeo — because once a Gold King, always family.

The season may end, but the friendships last a lifetime.
