🏁 HAMMER TIME RACING – RACE DAY RESULTS! 🏁

Today marked my first carpet oval race of the season at 997 RC Raceway and what a great way to kick things off! Chad and I had a blast getting back on the track, racing on the new layout, and spending the day with some great friends.

I showed up with a freshly built Buggy Street Stock and, being new to the carpet setup, knew I could use a little guidance. I reached out to Alexander Popp for some setup advice, and WOW, what a difference it made! The advice paid off big time. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your setup and helping get this car dialed in. Thank you!

Chad Rodkey:
🥉 3rd Place – Buggy Street Stock (Traxxas Bandit!)

Rob Myers:
🥇 TQ & 1st Place – Buggy Street Stock
🥉 3rd Place – Losi Late Model
🥉 3rd Place – Losi Wingless Sprint

All in all, an awesome day of racing, great competition, good friends, and some hardware to bring home!

Big thanks to 997 RC Raceway for putting on a great race and to everyone who helped make the day so much fun.

It comes with great sadness but we just found out a fellow racer has passed away. We will miss you Mark Muller, we had a lot of great racing together, our thought and prayers go out to Eric Muller and the family.

"It’s the freaking BUNKER HILL NATIONALS, okay!”

What an amazing 2 days of racing at Loco Joe's R/C Speedway! Overall numbers exceeded expectations from the year before. Last year they had 112 entries but this year they had 187!!

Special thanks to Aiden Cisney from 997 RC Raceway for calling the races. I am sure he was exhausted but he stayed right on cue and got everyone out before the Rains of Isaias open up on us.

Congratulations to every racers for traveling to this years race and hope you had safe travels back home! It was great talking to the Southern Md guys and the Jersey Boyz!

Thank you Joe Vanorsdale & Willis Gordon for putting on a great event! I know both of you put in a lot of your time to make this event successful!

Track was great both nights so hats off to the track crew of Warren Kenter, Donnie Franklin, Gabe & Jeremy for all your work.

Jessica Coffin for staying consistent as always as the tech queen, you stayed busy both days. Thank You!

Drum 🥁 Roll: how did the HTR drivers do today.

Richie Krenzer: TQ and 1st place in the mini mudboss/bandit late model & 2nd place in Traxxas Modified.

Rob Myers: 1st Place in Losi NASCAR Cup & 2nd place in Mini Mudboss/Bandit Late Model.

This was an outstanding 2-day event!!!

Tuesday night off road racing 6th points race at 997 RC Raceway.

Great turnout and some great back & forth racing.

In Sprinter I had a mishap that cost me from making the A-Main, I started on the pole in the B-Main and like always I make my own mistake on the first turn and dropped back to last place, I battled and ended up finishing 1st to start 7th in the A-Main. I was pretty clean throughout the A-Main with a few bobbles and ended up finishing 3rd overall. New layout was awesome, definitely has the need for speed!

Micro T is just a fun class with great laughter, you can’t get angry or mad with these little guys. The 1st qualifier I finished 2nd and then in the A-Main I started strong and went to wide and stayed in 2nd throughout the race.

Not a bad night of racing, overall.
