Happy Birthday to our boss lady, Maycie! 🖤🎈

As co-founder and co-owner of InStride, Maycie is the heart of everything we do. Her journey with horses has taken her from equine hospitals in Texas all the way to Australia's largest equine hospital, and on to managing rehab and conditioning for top level performance horses. That experience gives her a deep knowledge of equine anatomy, rehabilitation and conditioning, and it shows in the care every horse receives here.

What makes her truly special is that she does it all. She runs the business, works alongside vets and trainers, and still finds time to be hands-on in the barn every single day. She knows every horse personally, notices the smallest changes and celebrates every milestone along the way. The horses feel their best, and our team keeps learning and growing because of her.

Thank you for everything you do, Maycie! Please help us wish her the happiest birthday! 🎂

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 👉

Facility updates made with one thing in mind - 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦.
We’re constantly improving our facility to make our care safer, cleaner, and better suited for the performance horses entrusted to us.

• 4-Bay Covered Wash Rack — equipped with hot & cold water for year-round use.
• Upgraded Exterior Stalls — custom 4x4 windows, allowing better airflow and weather exposure while keeping horses comfortable.
• 6-Horse, 60' Priefert Walker — carefully leveled and maintained footing for daily exercise and conditioning.
• Automated Fly Misting Systems — activated hourly for added comfort and fly control.
• Heated Automatic Waterers — consistent access to fresh water while preventing freezing during colder weather.
• 24/7 Video Surveillance — continuous monitoring throughout the facility, day and night.

These may seem like small details, but when you’re caring for high-level equine athletes, the details are the standard.
Every improvement we make has a purpose: better care, better comfort, and a better environment for your horse.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the first responders whose courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

May we always remember the strength, compassion, and unity shown in the days that followed. Handled like the true Americans we are so proud to be.

Thank you to those who serve, and have served the public. It is a job that isn't easy, and we are forever grateful for those who choose to risk their lives daily to keep us safe.

𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒄𝒐𝒘𝒃𝒐𝒚𝒔.

Meet Hermes and Butters — a team of horses who spent the week carrying cowboys through smoke, fire, and miles of rugged country; searching for cattle scattered by the fires.

They worked through the heat and chaos, navigating ground made even more unforgiving by the fire — doing the kind of work that reminds us just how much heart, trust, and grit can be found in a good horse.

After the smoke settled, we had the privilege of giving these four-legged heroes some much-deserved rest and recovery. They were sore, tired, covered in cactus; but still willing to stand quietly while we pulled spines out one by one.

There are a lot of people — and horses — who quietly show up when things get hard. We’re incredibly grateful for the firefighters, first responders, ranchers, volunteers, no profit organizations, neighbors, and everyone else who worked tirelessly to protect livestock, homes, and our community.

Thank you to Butters, Hermes, and all the other horses still out there. 🖤

Happy Birthday Quigley Bleu 🐾

The face, personality, and unofficial mascot of InStride Performance Therapy!

If you’ve been to InStride, chances are you’ve met the one who actually runs the place. Part facility manager, part security, and full-time client relations. He takes his job very seriously — greeting every client with his best looking ball or rock, oversees daily operations at the spa, and making sure no lunch goes unattended. He’s been by our side for late night foaling in the spring and early morning feeds in the summer. He even gets his workout in and swims on the treadmill just like our regular fitness horses. 💪🏻

Today, our favorite four-legged manager is officially another year older, slightly wiser, and somehow even more entitled to employee benefits.

Here’s to seven years with Quigley. We could not imagine a day without him here. 🖤❤️
