Sept 2026 Recap

We returned from our week away the first week of Sept. Labor Day fell late and it seemed we got back on the water late.

However we got back to it right away, and the fishing didn’t disappoint. Labor Day night Chase and I made a recon trip and Sept fishing was off to a great start.

Sept seems to be automatic at night , fish are grouped up and they need to feed in anticipation of their trip back south.

We saw the wide range of the size of fish we usually do in September. Not to mention our first 50” of the season caught by Dave from NY. Heck of a fish ! These fish just strip line a little differently……

All in all a great month up until the end of the month , when a powerful ocean Nor-Easter decided to shake things up and we weren’t able to get in our last scheduled trip with Chris and his buddy from Florida.

Chris , we hope to see you guys next year as well everyone else that joined us in 2026.!

Dan , Gordie , and Shannon up from Florida had a chilly night but the fishing was on🔥🔥🔥.

First time Striper fishing ! They killed it !

Top fish for them out of the 40 fish ,

Fish caught were 28” to 49.5 “

This Mike and Mike / Father and son trip was in the making for few weeks. A couple weather reschedules brought them to tonight .
A 40 fish night and they had enough a little early….

Bobby Huntress (Fishtress) his buddies say “miss”tress😅 with a 48” last night.

Just wanted to say thanks to Bobby for some of the nicest feedback and compliments we could receive as a charter business and more importantly a father and son.

He pointed out that Chase and I work well together , that we both seem to know what each other is going to do when clients have fish hooked up, to getting a quick pic for you , and to getting the fish back in the water as quick as possible.

Ok seems like routine feedback right ?

They mentioned a couple other comments that hit me like

“ I envy you guys,I can only hope I can do something like this with my kid and that the two of you are doing this together is incredible !!!”

Thank you Bobby and the others that have seen it and let me know!

I don’t take it for granted , I’ll truly blessed to spend this amount of time with my son!!

Congrats on your trophy fish this summer , it’s been a pleasure having you on the boat!
