First Striper for Scott ever, and the others with their best yet.

Greyson lead the 4 of them with a 48”.
46” was the next best,
We lost count ! Great night Gents !

July 26 recap

As I left off from my June notes, I had mentioned we were about to start July with some of the hottest temps on record.

Well it was hot to start the month, however the first 10 days of July we saw the bite dwindle with the heat and strong west winds .
Early July water temps plummeted by 20°.

The 10th to the 11th the switch turned back on, that’s how quickly things can change. 1 fish one night and 30 the next night.

The rest of the month faired well with big fish and in good numbers.

This past July was one of the windiest I can remember.

We ended up July with seeing several boats having their striper catch stolen by sharks. Yes ! Right here in Wells Maine. Some pretty cool video surfacing on social media.

Well it’s 1 Aug and we will be at it tonight on Chiefy’s 22nd birthday.

It was Remi’s first trip on the Ocean, first ocean fish, and his first on the Ocean nap.❤️

After boating a couple cod, and several mackerel , and taking in this whole new world of the Ocean, it was time for a nap!

Nice job getting him out there guys!

Father and Son in law team tonight, John and Jeremy crushed it tonight.
Not sure what the better highlight was ?
John’s 49.5” or Jeremy’s amount of fish he caught.
Jeremy also got his trophy at 47”. What a night! Flat calm , big moon, and some fun fishing with these two. We lost count of the fish!
