🎉 Happy Birthday, LFC Coach Mike Heath! 🎉

Today we celebrate not just an incredible LFC coach, but a former 14-season MLB veteran whose career left a lasting mark on the game of baseball. From his debut with the New York Yankees in 1978 to his final season with the Atlanta Braves in 1991, Mike brought grit, passion, and leadership to every clubhouse and dugout he was part of.

Over a remarkable career in the big leagues, Mike compiled 1,061 hits, 86 home runs, 469 RBIs, and a .252 batting average, while playing catcher and outfield for five teams including the Yankees, Athletics, Cardinals, Tigers, and Braves. He even earned a World Series ring along the way — proof of his competitive spirit and winning mindset.

But what truly stands out isn’t just the numbers — it’s the dedication, leadership, and friendship you bring to the field every day. We’re lucky to have you guiding the next generation of players with the same heart you had in the majors.
