Hinsdale Central Grad and current NIU Football player Kelan is a long time Get Fast athlete. It turns out that a 10.7 one hundred yard dash, good hands and a superior will to score everytime he touches the ball is something D1 football programs like. Good to see you found a home Kel!

Sprinting with a focus on technique is one of the most effective ways to improve sprint performance.

The Get Fast Sports Performance Treadmill is built specifically for high-speed sprint training, with speeds of up to 50 MPH and incline capabilities up to a 40% grade. For context, Usain Bolt’s recorded peak speed was approximately 27.7 MPH.

More than simply a high-speed treadmill, the Get Fast system is designed to teach and reinforce sprint mechanics through cognitive feedback, real-time coaching cues, and highly specific programming. Athletes can train speed using inclined runs, overspeed runs, and combinations of speed and elevation designed to challenge different aspects of sprint mechanics.

The intuitive touchscreen control panel allows coaches to quickly and precisely adjust speed and elevation, making it easy to progress an athlete through increasingly demanding sprint conditions.

Once an athlete demonstrates an elongated stride and efficient sprint mechanics, resistance cords can be incorporated to further challenge turnover and coordination. The goal is to continually challenge the athlete’s ability to access greater speed and efficiency—always pursuing that elusive “5th gear.”
