Honor freedom by riding forward 🚴🏾‍♀️✊

This Juneteenth, join a Freedom Ride along the JAM Trail connecting Wilmington and Old New Castle—a powerful way to reflect, remember, and celebrate.

As we mark America’s 250th anniversary, Juneteenth reminds us that freedom has been a journey—one carried forward by resilience, community, and continued progress.

🌿 Ride together in reflection
📖 Honor the stories that shaped our nation
🚴 Experience the landscape where history lives

Whether you ride the full trail or join along the way, this is more than a bike ride—it’s a moment to connect past to present.

This event is FREE to the public but registration is required.

75 kids this year across Wilmington had an extra happy holiday thanks to our many volunteers, including folks from Cycle Sistahs, , and employees from Whitman, Requardt & Associates who helped prep bikes for our holiday giveaway. Thank you also to our partners at Kingswood Community Center, Hicks Anderson Community Center, Humbly Assisting Humanity, West End Neighborhood House, and Edgemoor Resource Center for distributing the bikes to families in their communities.
