We had a great time at the Independence Day Regatta! Our U26 summer scullers got their 1st (& 2nd!) sculling races under their belts! We threw together an octuple from a real cross section of the club to take down the full 2k course with the help of a couple of old & new friends! Our superstar racers even came away with some watches! Great team spirit and a wonderful regatta put on by our own Clete Graham, IDR’s Race Director! Well done everyone!

This weekend Wilmington Rowing Center returns to the "National Course" on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia for the 3-day Independence Day Regatta! We've got new U26 members taking on doubles races, masters rowers competing with friends, and an octuple that is comprised of a real cross-section of WRC's membership, and our very own Clete Graham is IDR's Race Director! Good luck everyone!

After waiting out off the chart AQI pollutants & then high winds, our brave & persistent few participants at Masters Nationals still managed to bring home 12 medals! Seriously well done for not only your results, but persevering through all the delays!

5 WRC members are on their way to Michigan to compete over the next 4 days in the Masters Nationals regatta!

Race times are correct as of the time of this post, but are subject to change. In those events with heats, the progression is noted with the time of the final.

Endeavor Racing Alliance & Rowing Camps Chinook Performance Racing

Our WeCanRow Cancer Survivor Group is thriving and getting out every Tuesday and Thursday!

On Saturday, July 18th, we are going to have an Erg and info session for new or potential members. This will be from 10:00am - 12noon at the boathouse.

If you know anyone going through treatment or finished treatment that would be interested to try rowing, send them over! All of you know how awesome our sport is and what benefits we get just being at the boathouse, rowing and enjoying nature. It's especially inspiring for those who have been through a cancer diagnosis and treatment in their life and can relate with other people in the group with something they haven't done before.

Pass the word!! If you can take this flyer to your business, gym or doctor's office, please ask them to hang it there.
