Perimenopause and menopause can bring so many changes — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
And women deserve spaces where they feel supported through it.

I’m excited to offer a monthly Menopause Wellness Circle — a small-group gathering focused on movement, nervous system support, education, strength, and community.

Coming soon.

Perimenopause isn’t random… even though it can feel that way.

One week you feel like yourself.
The next week—anxious, tired, not sleeping, wondering what’s going on.

Here’s what’s actually happening in your body:

Your ovaries are slowly producing less hormones.
Progesterone (your calming hormone) drops first.
Estrogen starts to rise and fall unpredictably.

And your brain?
(The first place we experience symptoms)
It’s trying to keep up—sending stronger signals, which can create even more fluctuations.

That’s why you might feel:
• Mood swings or anxiety
• Poor sleep
• Irregular periods
• Hot flashes or night sweats
• Brain fog

This isn’t you “losing it.”
This is your body transitioning.

And it doesn’t need more pressure… it needs more support.

Slower. Softer. More intentional.

You’re not broken—you’re in a powerful shift

Tried an inversion today. I wondered if I was capable. I was. I am.

There was a time this felt important. Familiar.
My body was different then.

Stronger in some ways, more limited in others.
But also more aware. More honest. More respectful.

I haven’t practiced inversions in a long time, but something in me wanted to try—to explore.

And what I found wasn’t the “old me”…
it was a wiser one.

A version of me that listens, that moves with intention, that knows when to push and when to pause.

My body has changed.
But the way I care for it has changed even more.

And that feels like growth.

There are just 2 spots left in the Strong & Steady Reset Lab, so I wanted to share a little more about what we’ll actually be doing.

Tuesdays are our conversation and education days.
We’ll be talking about what’s happening in your body during perimenopause and menopause — things like sleep, stress, hormones, nutrition, and bone health. It’s also a space to ask questions, share, and feel a little less alone in it.

We’ll also have two guest speakers joining us on Tuesdays. One will cover bone density, bone quality, and how to better understand your DEXA scan results — something so many women don’t get clear guidance on. And on another week, our nutritionist and registered dietitian Ann McQuinn will join us for an informal conversation about fueling your body, metabolism, and practical nutrition for midlife.

Thursdays are our strength sessions.
I’ve already been working with clients on bone density–focused strength training, and these sessions will be similar, while still being tailored to your individual needs. The goal is to help you build strength in a way that supports your body now and gives you something you can continue on your own.

If you’d like to keep going after the program, we can absolutely continue working together. And if you’re looking for a different type of workout or environment, I’m always happy to help you find programming in the area that you enjoy.

If you’re already in a workout routine that you enjoy but still want the education and community piece, I’m open to having you join us for Tuesdays only.

If this has been on your mind, now is a good time to reach out.

This program isn’t about fixing everything.

It’s a starting point.

A place to learn what’s happening in your body.
A place to build strength in a way that supports you now.
A place to feel a little less alone in it.

My role in this is to help guide you, offer tools, and support you as you begin to figure out what works best for you.

After the program ends, we can absolutely continue working together if that feels like a good fit. And if it doesn’t, I’m more than happy to help you find programming or support that does. I have no problem referring you to someone or somewhere else — I truly love supporting other local businesses, especially the ones that have helped me along the way.

This is about helping you find your way, not my way.

Strong & Steady Workshop begins in April and I’m really excited about this offering.

This 6-week program is designed to support women navigating perimenopause and menopause through education, strength training, and community. We’ll meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5–6:15pm at Body Elite starting April 7th. Each week includes a conversation about midlife health along with strength training focused on bone density, muscle, and overall resilience.

In week 4 we’ll also welcome Ann McQuinn, Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, for an informal conversation about nutrition for midlife. Bring your questions.

I know committing to several evenings can feel like a lot of time. At the same time, I’ve seen how even small shifts—learning something new about your body or adjusting a daily habit—can lead to meaningful change. Sometimes one helpful insight or a little support is exactly what we need.

Program Investment
Early registration / current clients: $199 (through March 23)
Regular registration: $249

Because this is the first time I’m offering the program, I’m keeping the price lower. When I offer it again in September 2026, the investment will likely increase.

If you’re interested or have questions, feel free to send me a message or email me at [email protected].

This week I started bioidentical HRT.

But it wasn’t my first step.

Before getting here, I really wanted to see what I was capable of through lifestyle changes. I’ve been working alongside my doctor, a registered dietitian, and a personal trainer.

I wanted to prove to myself that I could stay consistent with strength training and not just start strong, but keep showing up.
I wanted to improve how I was eating and focus on getting enough protein and foods my body truly needed and thrived on.
I wanted to understand my inflammation and my labs.
I wanted to do the work.

And I did.

I’ve been strength training consistently, walking regularly, supporting my nervous system, and making changes that improved my health markers.

But the hot flashes and the 3am wake-ups weren’t going away.

And sleep matters too much to ignore.

Sleep is when:
* muscle repair happens
*hormones reset
*inflammation comes down
*the nervous system recovers

You can’t build strength, transform your body, or create meaningful change if you’re waking up every night.

So after thoughtful conversations and looking at the research, I decided to start bioidentical hormone replacement therapy to help with the hot flashes and hopefully sleep through the night again.

Strength training, nutrition, and nervous system care are still the foundation.

This isn’t skipping the work.
It’s building on it. It’s feeling good and enjoying all the wonderful parts of this age.

And if you’re navigating this stage of life too; you’re not alone. 💛

Self-agency is the ability to choose yourself in real time.

Saturday morning, a woman I had never met walked out of my yoga class halfway through.

The old me would’ve been thrown off.
I would’ve taken it personally.
I would’ve wondered what I did wrong.

But today?

I genuinely thought… good for her.

Maybe it wasn’t what she expected.
Maybe her body said no.
Maybe her nervous system felt overwhelmed.
Maybe she simply changed her mind.

And that’s okay.

Growing up — and doing my own healing work — has taught me that we’re allowed to shift. We’re allowed to change course. We’re allowed to walk away.

We don’t have to stay just because we started.
We don’t have to override ourselves to be polite.
We don’t have to push through if something doesn’t feel aligned.

That’s self-agency.
That’s self-trust.
That’s nervous system awareness in real time.

Yoga isn’t about forcing yourself to stay on the mat. It’s about listening. To your body. To your breath. To your truth.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do… is leave.

This program has been slowly forming in my heart for a while.

Part strength training.
Part yoga and nervous system support.
Part honest conversation about menopause and midlife.

Because what I’m seeing — in myself and in so many women I work with, friends, and women I hardly know — is that we don’t need harsher workouts or more pressure.

We need strength that feels sustainable.
Yoga that helps us slow down and actually listen.
Movement that supports our bodies now.
And space to reset.

Strong & Steady Reset Lab is coming soon.
I’m really excited to share it with you 🤍

Who’s ready for a six week series???
