Philip Gimple, superintendent of the Strasburg Water Treatment Plant, said the North Fork of the Shenandoah River at Strasburg had fallen to 112 cubic feet per second, below the previous low of 161 recorded in 1942. That fact hung over the Shenandoah County Water Resource Advisory Committee's May 13 meeting as officials described conditions at or beyond the worst on record, with little recovery in sight.

Who is that in my fly box? The trout have been filling up on these BWOs. A very productive morning on the stream. They are definitely looking up.

Im not %100 sure this isnt the best moments of a fisherman’s life. Creek side, trout rising, weather is just right, Cigar and a little nip of bourbon.
