🚨*WINCHESTER, VA — SEPTEMBER 26TH EXPO CANCELLED* 🚨
We’ve made the decision to *cancel our September 26th Wi******er Reptile Expo.*
Why? Because apparently September needed *every reptile show within driving distance scheduled on the same weekend.* 🙃
With the sudden influx of competing shows, we’re not interested in asking vendors to split their inventory, money, and time between multiple events—or asking customers to choose which expo deserves their Saturday.
Could we still throw up some tables, open the doors, collect vendor fees, and call it a reptile expo?
Sure.
*But that’s not the kind of show we want to put our name on.*
Our vendors deserve actual foot traffic and an opportunity to make money. Our customers deserve a full, diverse vendor lineup that makes the drive and admission worthwhile. And everyone deserves something better than a half-filled room because five different events decided they all needed the same weekend.
*Oversaturating an area doesn’t help the reptile community. It just divides it.*
We would rather cancel a show than knowingly put on one that doesn’t meet our standards just so we can say we had one.
So, Wi******er, we’re sitting September out.
We’ll come back when we can bring you a show *worth attending, worth vending, and worth the drive.* 🐍🦎🐢
To our vendors and customers who continue supporting us: *thank you.* We’d rather disappoint you with a cancellation today than disappoint you with a crappy show later.
