Stonewall Tigers 9U represents the 9U division of Stonewall Ball Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting competitive youth baseball, softball, football, and basketball in Wi******er, Virginia and surrounding areas. Our newest addition to the DOUBLE DIGIT club — Harper!! 🎉

Happy 10th Birthday to our # 22, Harper! 🥳⚾️

Harper is one of those kids who is just genuinely special. He has the kindest heart, the sweetest smile, and a level of respectfulness that never goes unnoticed. He truly loves the game of baseball, loves his Red Sox, and whether he’s on the mound, at short, or wherever his team needs him, he gives it everything he's got.

Harper is the kind of player who can make an impact just about anywhere on the field. He works hard, plays hard, isn’t afraid to get dirty, and brings plenty of personality along with him.

There was a stretch where we were about ready to wrap this kid in bubble wrap 😅 — but thankfully, it’s been smooth sailing lately. 🙌

When we asked his teammates about him, they had a LOT to say — but a few things came up over and over. Harper is funny, kind, helpful, a great friend and a great teammate. And on the baseball side? His boys said he throws smoke, fireballs AND gas, hits bombs and tanks, and can flat-out play. 😂🔥

Today we’re wishing a very Happy Birthday to Coach Chris! 🥳🧡⚾️🖤

Since joining our Tigers family, Coach Chris has brought something pretty special to this team. He’s patient with our boys, steady when the pressure is on, and always willing to share the knowledge and wisdom that help make them better ballplayers — and better young men.

An athlete through and through and an outdoorsman at heart, there probably isn’t much Coach Chris can’t do. And while the Raiders and Orioles may have his loyalty 😉, there’s no question where his heart really is — with his family, his wife, his son, his daydream, and of course our 10U Tigers. 🧡

Our boys are better because Coach Chris is in that first-base box. He coaches with heart, leads with kindness, and brings a calm confidence to the field that they can count on.

Coach Chris, we’re grateful you found your way to the Tigers and even more grateful you chose to stay. Thank you for the time, heart, patience, and energy you pour into these boys.

Happy Birthday to one of the best coaches around! We hope today treats you as well as you treat everyone around you. 🧡🖤

Today, we’re proud to join the baseball community in honoring Roberto Clemente. 🇵🇷⚾️

Earlier this year, one of our Tigers dads traveled to Puerto Rico and brought back something pretty special for the boys — Roberto Clemente hats for every player on the team. 🧡

Clemente’s legacy reaches far beyond what he accomplished on a baseball field. He believed deeply in helping others, serving his community and using the game he loved to make a difference.

Those are the kinds of lessons we hope our boys carry with them long after their playing days are over.

Our Tigers proudly wear # 21 in honor of The Great One. 🇵🇷

⚾️ FALL BRAWL RECAP ⚾️

The Tigers opened up their 10U Fall season with a 2–1 day in Broadway! 🧡🖤

Game 1 | Tigers 7 • Stars/Gravett 5

The boys found themselves down early, but kept battling. They erased a four-run deficit, tied it up in the 3rd and took the lead for good in the 4th. Wyatt came up big with a triple to center, and the Tigers completed the comeback to start the day with a W. 🔥

Game 2 | Ironbirds 8 • Tigers 5

This one was a tough one. The Tigers battled back to tie it at 4, but mistakes proved costly and the Ironbirds pulled away. Not our cleanest baseball, but tournament days are about what you do next…

Game 3 | Tigers 17 • Augusta Sabers 0

…and the response was LOUD. 💥

The Tigers closed out the day with 13 hits, 17 stolen bases, ZERO errors and a 17–0 shutout. The bats exploded for a 12-run third inning, with contributions up and down the lineup.

Harper was lights out on the mound, throwing all 3 innings with 7 strikeouts, no walks and no runs allowed. 🔥

Three games. Two wins. One comeback. One tough loss. One dominant response.

A lot to build on and a whole lot of baseball still ahead. Fall season is officially underway. 🐅⚾️

🍂⚾ IT’S FALL BRAWL WEEKEND! 🐅

Tomorrow, the 10U Tigers head to Broadway Community Park for our first tournament of the Fall season — Shenandoah Valley Athletics’ Fall Brawl!

We’ll start the day with two games:

⚾ 9:00 AM | vs. Stars
⚾ 10:45 AM | vs. Shenandoah Valley Ironbirds

From there, the top two teams will meet again in the Championship game. 🏆
