Established in 1966, Huard's is a family run martial arts club in Winslow, Maine. Huard's Martial Arts is located in Winslow Maine. We have classes for all ages.

The club was founded by Shihan Randy Huard in 1966.Our private school offers training in, Mixed Martial Arts, Jiu-jitsu, Karate, Kickboxing, and Chanbara.Our Philosophy is simple, keep it classy with no ego and come to make friends, learn a lot, and have fun. The study of Martial Arts is different for all people. But let us remember it is an art form. It's your artwork! You're creating something of yourself. So you can have your own flair, your own creative way so to speak. There is no comparison to others at the beauty you weave into your life. Remember, at its core, it's not about awards and belts. Don't let those ruin what you make of yourself. You will be better at some things and not so good at others. But that's what makes your individualism. Martial Arts is an expression be it through each individual's journey to becoming better. So enjoy such, paint your own image, write your own story, keep learning, having fun, and doing your best. And above all else never give up!

A nunchaku (or nunchucks) is a traditional Okinawan martial arts weapon consisting of two sticks connected at their ends by a short chain or rope. Originally an agricultural tool, it is primarily used in karate to develop hand speed, posture, and dexterity.
