The Super Late Models take center stage with TWIN 50s this Saturday night! 🔥

Please note an important change to this weekend’s schedule: 602 Modifieds and Pure Stocks have been removed from the program.

Taking their place this Saturday will be the INEX Legends and Bandoleros!

The fourth-annual Winter Showdown returns to Auburndale Speedway in Florida with racing action Saturday – Wednesday, February 20 – 24, 2027. Announced today by the Showdown Series and Professional MotorSports Solutions, the series will hold practice on Friday, February 19, from 8pm – 11pm, and feature six rounds of INEX national points races (one round being National Qualifiers) for both Legends and Bandoleros. Baby Grands and TQ Midgets will also be a part of the event.

In previous years, the Winter Showdown took place the week into the weekend previous to the INEX Racing Series Winter Nationals at the same track, however, INEX scheduled a new race called the “Florida Bash” prior to the Winter Nationals (with practice days prior to), taking up that week. The 2027 Winter Showdown practice now happens during the evening after the final Winter Nationals round, allowing racers in Florida to continue gaining early season national points at the same track.

These rainouts are disappointing and frustrating
Please know that Rex and Chris and many others are scrambling to rearrange the schedule to try to make them up.
We can’t control the weather and we are doing the best we can to get everyone scheduled to race.
Please be patient and supportive of those trying to keep “your track “
running and keeping our race community happy.

Unfortunately we have to cancel this weekend's race due to a very unfavorable weather forcast. As is our policy, every ticket that was presold can be used at a future race. Just bring your ticket with you to the ticket counter.

🏁 EVENT POSTPONEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🏁

With the weather forecasting rain at race time for this weekend and the price of fuel, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend’s event in everyone's best interest.

But don’t worry, we’re already looking ahead! We will return on November 7th to Auburndale Speedway with an action-packed night featuring TWIN 50s!

We appreciate everyone’s understanding, support and the speedway working with us. Stay tuned for more details, and we’ll see you at the track on November 7th!
