WRC coach, Sam Stallings, was the Tewksbury Open Men’s A draw Champion!

WRC’S USTA 8.0 mixed doubles team finished in second place, just one individual victory away from reaching nationals. Captained by Laurel Carey and Ryan Yure.

Winn Street to Peach Orchard is closed and there is a huge detour. WRC recommends taking exit 53 (route 38) to avoid detour.

WRC will be closing early today at 7 pm. We will also be closed July 4-5 for the Fourth of July holiday.

WRC would like to recognize some of our High Performance Juniors’ accomplishments from this past high school spring season. Daniel Teittinen has been the four-year starter at singles for Melrose High. He completed his Senior season with a 19-2 record and finished his career with 50 singles wins. A four-time Middlesex League All-Star, he was named to the 2026 Middlesex League All-Conference Team and was unanimously-voted Middlesex Freedom League MVP.

Pictured here with WRC Pro Sam Stallings (Head Coach for the Melrose High Boys team), Daniel helped lead the team to their first Middlesex Freedom League title since 2018 and their first in Sam’s time as coach for Melrose. Daniel will attend Holy Cross in the fall.

WRC would like to recognize some of our High Performance Juniors’ accomplishments from this past high school spring season. Savannah Beatrice has been the Starter at 1st Singles for Wilmington High since her freshman year. She completed the 2026 season with a 17-3 record. She was voted a Middlesex League All-Star, was named to the 2026 Middlesex League All-Conference Team, and is now a three-time Middlesex Freedom League MVP!

WRC would like to recognize some of our High Performance Juniors’ accomplishments from this past high school spring season. Wes Cunningham is afour-year starter for Mystic Valley and 2026 Boston Herald All-Scholastic athlete, Wes secured the winning point in the Division 4 State Title with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 win at 2nd Singles. Wes will attend Georgia Tech in the fall.
