Pretty much a “wrap” on cleanups. The leaf loader worked great where areas couldn’t get mulched but this HOA has a ton of oaks and it’s just quicker to put them in piles and come back and vacuum them up. They get brought to either Rumpca or Gertens to be made into compost.

❄️NOTE: I’ll be out this evening to do “break throughs” for the 2 HOA’s. Sidewalks will also be touched up.
Once those are done, the restaurant and church will be cleaned and possibly residential driveways. This all depends on how things look going into midnight-4am. Our 3-7” of snow may melt by 6am. The temps start warming up now thru tomorrow.
The good thing about this? We need moisture desperately. Finally, a nice snow with soaking rains to follow!The ground isn’t really froze so it’ll sink it with little runoff. The transition Monday shows almost 1” of rain with maybe snow Tuesday. Thank you and be safe!

A pic to show the craziness of February 2024 and winter. Notice the temp differential! Plowed one time on Valentine’s Day after a quick 6.8” the 13th for Twin Cities and surrounding area which basically melted. Then plowed once in January (barely 2” and melted). No plowing was done in Nov./Dec..

UHMW installed. The black end piece is an experiment to see if snow can be reduced from coming out the end when in “C-plow” mode on pullback.

Finishing up some last minute cleanups/mulching jobs. This ‘17 GMC with 4.10 gearing will mainly be used for snow use and dump trailer applications. The plow mount has been installed and unfortunately (although cool) all tint has been removed and a stock exhaust has replaced the aftermarket. She sounded great but sadly, way to loud!
The rut is on 🤣🦌

I’ve mowed this place a few times and now it’s up for sale. 55 showings scheduled today! It’s amazing the amount these “starter” homes are going for. A $250k house with a massive bidding war that was originally made for $12k… Unreal

I “think” that’s a wrap for snow removal! My goodness what a wild winter. Ended up being 388 residential driveway clearings. The townhouse complex as mentioned early on in October was the most important. The church, and restaurant were also done many times along with sidewalk clearing at John’s Pizza Ltd off of Coma/Dale.
Here’s one customer of many I cleaned up this past week using grandpas old 266 Husqvarna. It was made between ‘81-‘90. Don’t mind the Stihl blade as it was a great price. Ha! The new Midsota “Versadump” has been broken in. So nice to have it!
