This World Series had so many great moments. You saw both teams break the trend of hitting philosophies. You saw some dominant pitching. You saw pictures who threw low 90s with pinpoint control. You saw teams overcome defensive mistakes, and pick each other up

But there was this moment between friends on opposing teams that to me sums up why I love sports. It’s the competition. It could be friendly. It could be a harsh rivalry, but there should be respect. I absolutely love this moment between the Catcher challenging the Pitch.

It’s unbelievable hard. I struggled with this tremendously but youth sports is such a great opportunity for kids to learn adaptability, teamwork, support, excitement, struggle, and success. These were all things as adults we deal with daily.
Be supportive, even on their worst days.
It goes so fast!

What a fun night tonight. All 8 stations tonight were moving. Added some challenges with Coach Connors hitting cage, then more reps with RJ. Daltons Evo agility workout had them sweating then it was followed by 3 more hitting stations. To break up the swings we had them all work on defensive drills and then pitching drills before one more hitting station using overload and unload bats.
Thank you so much to all you parents for giving them the opportunity to come out. It was great seeing so many familiar faces and even so many kids recognized each other. Love that part!!!

I hope they all enjoyed their candy!! Happy Halloween.

Good night Evo

This isn’t just for sports. What are you doing to be better than others? This mindset works for any and all dreams and aspirations you may have in life.

Why are youth sports so important?
As adults we can relate this to our work lives. As adults we have all worked with each type of person.
Our goal in youth sports, or my goal, is to help the young players navigate these situations to learn how to manage them.
Youth sports have the ability to teach life lessons.
