THANK YOU everyone for your patience as we continue to work through results. The Top 5 Male and Top 5 Female have picked up their award yesterday. Winners receiving award checks will be receiving an email from me by end of day today to confirm mailing addresses. The remaining awards (Brown's sugar cakes) go to Top 2 Master Male and Female and Top 3 in each Age Group category. This link below is the results that I'm going with for age group awards. If you are NOT listed and believe that you are in the Top 3, please come and pick up your award. I will be sending the race timer a list of missing participants. For those of you who already sent me an email, I have you on the list. The awards will be at Fleet Feet York (1511 Mt Rose Ave) starting TODAY (9/28) at 1PM until Wednesday (10/01) at 5PM. Any awards not picked up will be donated to the local food bank. Fleet Feet is open today (Sunday) until 4PM. Again, apologies for the delay in finalizing results. Packet pickup is today, Friday, September 26, at Fleet Feet York (1511 Mt Rose Ave) from 2:00–7:00pm. You may also register for the race during this time (cash or Venmo only).

Please note a few important updates for race day:
1. Sandwich options at White Rose will be turkey or grilled cheese. Due to limited staffing, the full menu may not be available.
2. Porta-pots will be available in the White Rose parking lot. Please be aware that the lot will remain open to vehicles.
3. The York Road Runners Club will be selling merchandise inside White Rose after the race.
4. Winners will be announced at the finish line shortly after 9:30am.
5. Race day packet pickup will begin at 6:30am. Race day registration will also be available (cash or Venmo only).

Thank you for being part of this year’s event—we look forward to seeing you tomorrow! Rodney, the bagpiper, and Temple Guard Drumline will be there.

Our volunteers will be using these markings to set barricades and keep runners safe, while directional arrows guide you along the course. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This year’s route takes you through some powerful and historic sights in York:

1️⃣ Court of Valor & Safekeepers Shrine & K9 Memorials (1.5 miles) – Honoring York County veterans who received medals of valor or heroism, and first responders who gave their lives in the line of duty.

2️⃣ Community Mausoleum (just past 2 miles) – Housing 360 crypts numbered 1-361, with entombments of Shipley, Pfaltzgraff, and other prominent York County figures.

3️⃣ Soldiers Circle (shortly after 2.5 miles) – The resting place of 163 Union Soldiers, part of the National Cemetery Association and not owned by the cemetery.

COURSE DETAILS
We’re excited to share that this year’s York White Rose Run will feature a new course, showcasing a different part of York County!

Start: The race will begin promptly at 8:00 AM on the West Philadelphia Street bridge at North Pershing Avenue.

Prospect Hill Cemetery: Please use caution when running through the cemetery - watch your footing and be respectful by not littering. You will enter and exit the cemetery from Pennsylvania Avenue.

Water Station: Located as soon as you enter the cemetery around the 1.5 mile mark and after looping the cemetery, you will hit the same water station around the 3.5 mile mark.

Finish: The course will take you to the finish line on Beaver Street near West Philadelphia Street. Runners and walkers must cross the finish line by 9:30 AM (18 minute pace)

POST-RACE CELEBRATION
Due to a chance of rain in the forecast, the post-race celebration will be held indoors at White Rose Bar & Grill (48 N Beaver St).

Each runner, walker, and volunteer will receive a ticket for one sandwich and one drink (your choice of draft beer or soda).

White Rose will also feature their Saturday special: $6 Orange Crush.

If you’re craving something beyond a sandwich, their full menu will be available for ordering.

We are working feverishly with White Rose to coordinate winner announcements and the awards ceremony so we can properly celebrate your achievements. Stay tuned - as we do not yet know if we’ll be able to host the full ceremony or an abbreviated version.

Reminder: Please do not approach or bother the race timer. Results will be posted as soon as they are available. QR codes will be available at White Rose to view results.
