We want to congratulate Brady Stump for being selected to Sweden's Orkelljunga Professional Volleyball team. Brady is a YS Class of 2022 graduate and a four-year starter on the York Suburban Varsity Volleyball team. He graduated from Saint Francis University after four years with their D1 men's volleyball program. Brady leaves for Sweden on August 26, 2026. Congratulations, Brady. We'll be watching!

Vi välkomnar Brady Stump till ÖVK! Den 203 cm långa vänsterspikern från Harrisburg, USA, ansluter efter fyra framgångsrika säsonger på Saint Francis University, där han var en starkt bidragande orsak till att laget nådde NCAA-slutspelet för första gången.

💬 ”I chose ÖVK because of the strong sense of professionalism and the clear vision the organization has for development and success.” säger Brady.

💬 ”Att Brady och Nathan har spelat på samma college under fyra års tid kan förhoppningsvis hjälpa oss och göra det lättare för dem att anpassa sig och komma in i gruppen” säger Jörgen, ordförande i elitsektionen.

Vi ser fram emot att se Brady i ÖVK-tröjan när han ansluter till laget i augusti. 💙

From the York Suburban All-Sports Booster Club: Senior Poster photos will be taken on Friday, August 28 at 2:30 PM. Senior student-athletes participating in a fall sport should meet in the HS lobby wearing the team uniform. (Senior football players- due to your away football game, a new time will be scheduled and announced ASAP.)

2026 York Suburban Golf

Tryouts for the Varsity Golf team will take place on August 10th, August 11th, and August 12th at Regents Glen Golf Course starting at 12pm. Interested students must contact Coach VanHouwe to schedule a tryout.

Congratulations, Gehret! 🧡🖤

York Suburban senior Gehret Gentzyel is the GameTimePA Boys Athlete of the Year fan poll winner! Gentzyel played seven varsity sports during his time with the Trojans and earned YAIAA Division II first team honors in football as an inside linebacker and athlete while also taking home second team all-star recognition as the goalkeeper on the Trojans’ soccer team. In wrestling, Gentzyel amassed a stellar 41-8 record, won his second straight sectional title and earned a runner-up spot at 189 pounds at districts to qualify for the PIAA tournament. In diving, he placed fifth at the YAIAA meet and brought home ninth at the district meet.

Did you attend Indian Rock Elementary in 1976? Fifty years ago, students placed a time capsule at Indian Rock filled with memories of life in 1976. This September, it will finally be opened.

We're looking for former students and staff who were part of Indian Rock in 1976 to join us for this special occasion, share their memories with today's students, and attend the time capsule opening.
