🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

I’m heading to Texas bright and early tomorrow to visit our son before he deploys. ❤️🇺🇸

Unfortunately for everyone involved, this means Jason will be left completely unsupervised at the shop tomorrow AND Friday. 😬

I’ve done what I can. He has instructions. Whether he follows them is between him and God.

So please, for the sake of the business, stop in and keep him occupied. Buy something. Ask him a bunch of questions. Give him a task. He’s going to be lonely, bored, and entirely too confident in his newfound authority.

If I come home and we suddenly have a forklift, another dog, or $10,000 worth of “inventory we definitely needed,” I’m blaming all of you. 🤣

🔥 September is Firefighter Appreciation Month 🚒

Being a local, family-owned business here in York, one of the best parts of what we do is getting to know the firefighters and departments that serve our communities.

We’ve had the privilege of working with fire departments throughout York, Lancaster and surrounding areas — helping outfit the men and women who are often the first ones through the door when someone is having their worst day.

But for us, it’s about more than uniforms, apparel, or gear. It’s about the relationships we’ve built along the way. We’re incredibly grateful for every department that has trusted our small business and allowed us to play even a small part in supporting the work they do.

To our local career and volunteer firefighters — and firefighters everywhere — thank you for the long hours, missed meals, interrupted nights, time away from your families, and your willingness to answer the call whenever it comes.

We’re proud to serve those who serve our communities. ❤️🚒

🚨 Shop Hours Update 🚨

Just a heads up! Our shop will be closed beginning at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 6th, and will reopen Monday, August 10th at Noon.

We'll be spending the rest of the week visiting customers and departments, as well as picking up some exciting new products to bring back to the shop.

If you need anything before we head out, please stop in before 1:00 PM Thursday. Otherwise, we'll be back Monday morning, refreshed and ready to help! If you need immediate assistance while we're out, feel free to call or text Jason or Jess and we'll do our best to help you as quickly as possible.

We’ve Expanded! Same building — just a bigger, better space.

Thanks to your continued support, 556 Tactical has officially moved into a larger location to better serve our customers and departments. More room, more inventory, and an even better experience when you come in.

We also have a large shipment of new inventory and product lines on the way, so there’s even more coming soon.

🕒 New Walk-In Hours:
• Monday: 9AM – 4PM
• Wednesday: 9AM – 4PM
• Friday: 9AM – 1PM

We are also available by appointment 7 days a week, so you can still get dedicated one-on-one service whenever you need it.
