⛳ PGA TOUR vs. LPGA TOUR: Which Swing Should You Really Study? ⛳
Here’s a question that might surprise some golfers:
If you’re an average amateur golfer, should you be trying to swing like a PGA Tour player… or an LPGA Tour player?
The answer for most golfers is actually the LPGA Tour.
Why?
🏌️ LPGA players generally swing at speeds that are much closer to what many amateur golfers can realistically achieve.
🏌️ Their games rely heavily on fundamentals, consistency, balance, accuracy, and efficient movement rather than pure power.
🏌️ Many LPGA players hit the ball incredibly far while maintaining outstanding tempo and control.
Meanwhile, the average amateur often watches PGA Tour players swinging 120+ mph and tries to copy movements that were built around elite speed, strength, and athleticism.
The result?
❌ Swinging too hard
❌ Losing balance
❌ Poor contact
❌ Inconsistent ball flight
If your goal is to hit more fairways, strike the ball more solidly, and lower your scores, spend some time watching the LPGA Tour. You might find that their swings are much more relatable—and much easier to learn from.
The next time you’re watching golf, pay attention to:
✅ Tempo
✅ Balance
✅ Rhythm
✅ Consistency
✅ Course Management
Those skills translate to every level of golf.
💬 What do you think? Do amateur golfers have more to learn from the PGA Tour or the LPGA Tour?

⛳ GOLF TIP: ARE YOU PLAYING THE RIGHT GRIP? ⛳
When golfers think about equipment, they often focus on clubs, shafts, and golf balls.
But what about the only part of the club you actually touch?
👉 Your grip.
Choosing the right grip can improve comfort, confidence, and even consistency.
Here are a few things to consider:
✋ Grip Size
• If the grip feels too small, your hands may become overactive.
• If it feels too large, it can be difficult to release the club properly.
• The right size should allow you to hold the club comfortably without excessive grip pressure.
🌧️ Grip Texture
• Softer grips tend to feel more comfortable and absorb vibration.
• Firmer or corded grips provide additional traction, especially in hot, humid, or wet conditions.
🏌️ Grip Style
• Some golfers prefer a traditional tapered grip.
• Others prefer reduced taper or oversized options for added comfort and stability.
• Golfers with arthritis or hand discomfort often benefit from larger grips.
📅 When Was the Last Time You Replaced Your Grips?
Worn grips can become slick and force you to squeeze the club tighter than necessary, leading to tension throughout the swing.
The best grip isn’t necessarily the most popular one—it’s the one that fits YOUR hands, YOUR preferences, and YOUR game.
What grip are you currently playing? Golf Pride? Lamkin? Winn? SuperStroke? Let us know in the comments! ⬇️

⛳🏌️ HUMP DAY GOLF TIP 🏌️⛳
Recording your golf swing can be one of the fastest ways to improve—but only if you’re filming from the right spot.
📱 The biggest mistake golfers make when recording their swing?
Standing too far off the target line or too close to the ball.
For the most useful video:
✅ Down-the-Line View:
Position the camera directly behind your hands at address, looking down the target line.
✅ Face-On View:
Position the camera chest-high and directly in front of your hands.
A small change in camera angle can completely change how your swing appears on video and make it much harder to identify what’s actually happening.
🎯 Before you hit record, take an extra few seconds to make sure the camera is in the correct position.
Better angles = Better feedback = Faster improvement.
Do you ever record your own swing? Let us know in the comments! ⬇️
