🚧⛳ WHITE ROSE GOLF – YORK UPDATE

We’ve been getting quite a few questions about the new White Rose Golf & Training Center – York location, and we want to apologize for not providing an update sooner.

We truly appreciate everyone’s interest, excitement, and patience as we continue working through the development and permitting process.

The timeline is taking a little longer than we originally anticipated, which means the new location will open later than initially planned. We’re continuing to move things forward and want to make sure everything is properly in place before we welcome everyone into the new facility.

🎯 STOP JUDGING YOUR PRACTICE BY YOUR BEST SHOT.

We’ve all done it.

You’re on the range, hit one absolutely perfect shot and think, “There it is. I’ve got it.” ⛳🔥

But one great shot doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting better.

Real improvement is what happens to ALL the other shots.

As a coach, I’m looking for things like:

➡️ Is your dispersion getting tighter?
➡️ Is your start line becoming more consistent?
➡️ Is your contact improving?
➡️ Is your miss becoming smaller and more predictable?
➡️ Can you repeat the shot when there’s actually something on the line?

If you hit one perfect 7-iron but the next five go in five different directions, we still have work to do.

But if those five shots are all finishing in a much smaller area—even if none of them feels absolutely perfect—that’s progress.

🏌️ Golf isn’t a game of perfect shots. It’s a game of predictable misses.

The better you understand where your ball is likely to go—even when you don’t make your best swing—the easier it becomes to aim smarter, manage the course and shoot lower scores.

So next time you practice, don’t ask:

“How good was my best shot?”

Ask:

“How good is my pattern getting?” 🎯

That’s where improvement lives.

Join me for our final Two-Day Golf School of 2026, October 9–10 at Bridgewater Golf Club in York.

We’ll spend two full days working on all areas of your game, including:

The White Rose Golf – York Competitive Training Program is built for competitive junior golfers who want more than just lessons. This is a structured, 6-month development program designed to help players train with purpose, compete under pressure, and prepare their games for the upcoming golf season.

📅 October 19, 2026 – March 29, 2027

🔴 MONDAY TRAINING | 6:30–8:00 PM
Structured 90-minute development sessions focused on building a complete game from green to tee.

🏆 COMPETITION NIGHTS | SELECT FRIDAYS, 5:00–7:00 PM
11 competition nights featuring rotating formats designed to put players in competitive situations and develop better decision-making under pressure.

Throughout the program, players will work through monthly themes:

⛳ October — ASSESS
🔨 November — BUILD
🎯 December — CONTROL
🔥 January — PRESSURE
🧠 February — DECIDE
🏆 March — COMPETE + TRANSITION

Players will also receive weekly CoachNow reflections to build accountability and focus, plus an outdoor transition session at Bridgewater Golf Club in March as we prepare to take everything we've developed indoors back onto the course.

🎯 TEACHING TIP TUESDAY ⛳

Your golf swing doesn’t have to look perfect to produce good golf shots.

Golfers spend a lot of time trying to make their swing look better.

Perfect takeaway.
Perfect position at the top.
Perfect follow-through.

But here’s the thing…

🏌️ The golf ball doesn’t care what your swing looks like.

It responds to what the club is doing at impact.

What matters?

🎯 Clubface control — Can you consistently control where the ball starts?

↔️ Face-to-path relationship — Can you produce a ball flight you understand and can play with?

💥 Quality of contact — Are you consistently finding a functional part of the clubface?

📊 Predictable patterns — When you miss, do you have a pretty good idea where that miss is going?

Watch the best players in the world and you’ll see plenty of different-looking golf swings.

Different grips. Different takeaways. Different positions. Different tempos.

But they all find a way to deliver the club effectively and produce repeatable results.

That’s an important distinction when you’re working on your own game:

❌ Don’t chase positions just because they look better.

✅ Make changes because they improve impact, ball flight, contact or consistency.

Your goal isn’t to build the prettiest swing on the driving range.

Your goal is to build a swing that produces golf shots you can trust on the course. 🎯⛳
