⛳ Weekend Golf Tip: Keep It Simple!

One of the easiest ways to make a tough round even tougher? Trying to fix your entire golf swing while you’re playing. 😅

If something feels off, resist the urge to start thinking about your grip, takeaway, backswing, weight shift, downswing AND follow-through all at once.

Instead, pick ONE simple swing thought and commit to it for the round.

Maybe it’s:

🏌️ Smooth tempo
🎯 Finish toward the target
⚖️ Stay balanced
💪 Make a committed swing

The golf course isn’t the place to rebuild your swing—that’s what practice is for. When you’re playing, keep it simple, trust your swing, and focus on getting the ball around the course.

Take your game to the course with coaching focused on course management, club selection, decision-making and real-time feedback.

Short Game School
Friday, August 21
9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Cost: $135

Improve your putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play while learning practical techniques to lower your scores around the green.

Ball Striking Mastery
Friday, August 28
9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Cost: $135

Learn to produce more solid contact, improve your consistency and develop better distance control with your irons.

Each specialty program is $135, or register for all three for $375.

All programs are held at Bridgewater Golf Club. Space is limited, so I recommend registering as soon as possible.

⛳ Practice Challenge: Can You Start It on Line?

The goal of today’s challenge is simple: hit 20 golf balls and focus only on starting each shot on your intended target line.

Before every swing:

🎯 Pick a specific target
🏌️ Aim the clubface carefully
👀 Visualize the starting line
✅ Make a committed, balanced swing

Don’t worry about distance, curve, or whether every shot finishes perfectly. For this challenge, the only question is:

Did the ball start where you intended?

Keep score out of 20 and report back in the comments with your result!

How many did you start on line—5, 10, 15, or all 20?
