Welcome Max to Yorktown!

“Max brings our skilled forward core a big frame at 6’4 and a Big WE little me team first mindset that will gel right away with the room. He comes to us by way of the Michigan AAA and HS system- putting up 48PTS in 55GMs in his U16AAA year with Belle Tire- and we know he will adjust quickly to the difficult SE Division. Our staff is very excited to get to work with Max and help him continue to develop into a hard to play against 200 FT power forward. Can’t wait for Yorktown to see him wearing #14!” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to join the Yorktown Admirals. I’m looking forward to this next step in my hockey career and proud to represent the organization.” -Max

Welcome To Yorktown Evan!

“Evan is a left shot 2009 D with great stick detail who can play in all situations. His strong work ethic, compete, and IQ lead him to always taking care of his own end first and joining the rush when able. We know he is excited to get to VA and get to training and we share that excitement with him as a prospect with a really bright future here!” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)

“Being part of the Yorktown Admirals’ inaugural season is both an honor and a responsibility. We’re not just playing games we’re setting the standard, building the culture, and creating the foundation this program will carry forward. I’m ready to give everything I have to help make that legacy something special.“ -Evan

Welcome To Yorktown Peter!

“We are excited to welcome another 2006 birth year with quality Junior experience and who is strongly motivated to come prove he can be an impact player over stateside right away. Peter has proven with his shot, deception, and speed he can contribute on the scoresheet at high competitive levels the last two seasons, but he’s really excited to join a group of guys who really push each other on and off the ice everyday. We can’t wait to see him in Admirals colors wearing #10!.” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)

“Definitely very excited to be representing Yorktown in its inaugural season. I think it’s the perfect place for me to continue developing my game all around. Looking to put the Admirals on the map right from the start and to push my teammates to do their absolute best every day.” -Peter

Welcome To Yorktown Kade!

“Kade is a rink rat- he’s on the ice an hour early all off season so far and he’d stay out there for the whole day if he could. In the short time we’ve worked with him you can really see his desire to get better and his love of the game. With all the ice available here and that mindset Kade is going to make some impactful steps not only this off season but next year as well. He has a great compact one-timer and has proven he can put up points with 40PTS in 55GMS last season and a 4 goal showing in the All-Star Game at our ID Camp. We are excited to have Kade in the fold and continue to develop his 200 foot game at the Junior level.” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)

“I am excited to join the Admirals for the this upcoming season. I am thankful for the opportunity and ready to work hard and grow as a player and person.” -Kade

Welcome To Yorktown Gavin!

“Gavin is a player who jumped off the page and ice to us at our ID Camp. He was all over the puck, tracking, battling, competing, finding the back of the net from the first drop of the puck all the way through the last whistle of the event. Gavin comes to us by way of Team Alaska U16AAA then finishing at his local high school where he led the state in pts 25/26 season. The 2007 born forward was also named conference MVP in his senior season. Our staff believes Gavin’s high compete will fit in great with not only our group, but also help him adapt quickly to what is usually the most difficult division in the nation and we look forward to seeing him keep earning it just like he did in ID Camp.” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)

“I’m extremely grateful to be playing for the Yorktown Admirals this upcoming season. I’m looking forward to be apart of a new growing driven and supportive culture with very knowledgeable coaches who I can’t wait to play for and develop my skills with.” -Gavin

Welcome to Yorktown Erik!

“As a 2006 Erik brings our program valuable junior experience and his hard tracking 200 foot style of play should adapt very well to North American hockey. He is reliable, relentless, and extremely hungry with a chip on his shoulder to come in and prove himself and put in the work here with us in the difficult Southeast Division.” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)

Welcome to Yorktown Niko!

“Niko is a special player with a great work ethic. Putting up 48PTS in 30GMS last season in his first season in the States, he has a great ability to protect the puck at speed and can change his angle of attack and shot quickly which makes him an incredible threat at shooting through traffic and beating defenders wide with speed and is always willing to get to tough areas. We are thrilled that Niko chose to spend his age out season here in Yorktown and can’t wait to get to work with him and help him earn his college commitment.” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)

“I’m really excited and grateful to be part of this team for the upcoming season. I’m ready to work hard, improve, compete, and give everything every day. Excited for what’s ahead.” -Niko
