Welcome To Yorktown Andrew!
“Andrew can make plays offensively putting up 61PTS last year. He is a young man who wants to push himself and challenge himself against older competition. He wants the toughest match ups. That is why we are so confident Drew will fit in great with this group and we can’t wait to get him to Yorktown and get to work on developing all facets of his game and help him reach his goals this season and beyond.” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)
“Grateful for the opportunity and excited for what’s ahead as I begin this chapter of junior hockey. I’m ready to get to work, compete every day, continue developing as a player, and contribute to the team’s success.” -Andrew

Welcome To Yorktown Patrik!
“Adding Patrik to our D Core really helps our depth as he is very reliable and capable of playing big time shut down minutes. A 2006 Birth Year, Patrik experienced a tough injury last season, but has been training hard all off season and has made a full recovery showing his love and dedication to the game he is ready and hungry to come over and make an impact right away. We are very excited to work with Patrik in his age out season and help him reach his goals on and off the ice.” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)
“I am very grateful for this organization. I’m ready to work hard every day and I’m very exited to join this team.” -Patrik

Welcome To Yorktown Luca!
“A 2006 Canadian Defenseman with valuable junior experience and a season in the NCDC under his belt, Luca is already versed in the pace and speed of our level. He is a great mover joiner that can use his skating, IQ, and passing ability on the breakout to help his team play fast and catch other teams in transition play. He is able to use his skating to re-gap quickly and is a very deceptive distributer and shooter on the offensive blue-line. Luca is hard at work back at home prepping for the season— we can’t wait to get him down to Virginia for Training Camp in August!” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)
“I’m grateful to join this amazing organization and excited for such an opportunity. I’m looking forward to working hard, and having a great year.” -Luca

Welcome To Yorktown Nikita!
“Nikita brings a full 200FT game to our D core. As a 2006, he was a leader of his team wearing the “C” last season and his physicality makes him very hard to play against in all 3 zones. Nikita is also a very good puck mover who is also always a threat to find good ice and put pucks home as he put up 30PTS last year and finished the season at +24. We are very excited to have Nikita here in his age out season and continue to develop all aspects of his game with him.” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)
“I am very grateful to the organization, the coach for providing such an opportunity, it will be a great experience for me. I will invest in full to meet all expectations.” -Nikita

Welcome to Yorktown Lev!
“Lev has a great set of hands and is very difficult to defend especially when he gets to 2nd gear and his top speed. He utilizes change of speeds very well. His release and accurate shot make him a threat to score of the rush as well. Lev brings valuable experience playing against high level competition in Kazakhstan to our Forward core and we are very excited to have him in blue and gold, get him stateside in August, and get to work!” -CJ Sweigart (Head Coach)
“I’m excited and grateful to join the organization. I’m coming in ready to compete, work hard every day, and help the team succeed. Looking forward to the season ahead.” -Lev

🇺🇸 HAPPY 4TH OF JULY 🇺🇸
While we celebrate and commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence let’s take a moment to recall how this document came to fruition right in our hometown, Yorktown, VA, with the conclusion of the Battle of Yorktown.
The Battle was the final major land engagement of the Revolutionary War and was won in decisive fashion by General George Washington and his troops defeating the British Army and forcing it’s surrender by General Cornwallis.
Have a wonderful and safe holiday celebrating our great nation’s history!
