8 months. Gym and I broke up 8 months ago and today was our first day seeing each other since then. 😆
Going back was nothing like I expected. I always imagined a celebration, but instead I forced myself to go.
I don’t have videos to show you, but I kept things simple. I stayed lighter, almost too light, but I also felt really weak, and that’s okay. We will build from here. 😈
I focused on that mind muscle connection, breathing, and perfect form. It’s not a race to make changes. It’s a process and a journey. This is my lifestyle. I do this because it feels good. I do this for fun.
Y’all, and as much as I struggled to get here it felt so dang good and everything inside me was screaming “welcome home”
Today’s workout:
Squats 4 sets, 6-10 reps
Hip thrusts 5 sets, 8-10 reps
Leg extensions 4 sets, 10-12 reps
Single leg press 3 sets, 8-10 reps
Abductors 3 sets, 20-30 reps
Back extensions 3 sets, 10-12 reps
Bicep curls 3 sets, 8-10 reps

I lifted one day last week. An younger version me when have freaked, felt terrible, and spent time making me feel like crap. Today I feel great. That “one day” was more than I did the week before and that’s progress baby! 😏 I’m proud of that.
Don’t stress about what you didn’t do last week or even the week before.
It’s a new day!
It’s a new week!
So, let’s CRUSH it and focus on doing better than the last.
We got this 💪🏻

Who would have thought I’d meet one of my best friends online?
Online coaching has brought me so many amazing people to my life. And I am so grateful for this girl and our random adventures!
Laughing, eating and wandering was just what I needed. 💜 you.

Food baby coming up! 😏
After breakfast I spent my entire day cleaning and organizing and didn’t even stop to eat. Honestly sending my babies off was hard and staying busy is what helped me get through the day.
My goal was Kaden’s room. I normally don’t clean my kids’ rooms, but moving is stressful and with school and homework I just wanted to do it.
I never got to my lifts, but I do feel so accomplished in other ways. Tomorrow is a new day and I WILL make fueling before 11:30 PM a priority, so I CAN crush my lifts.

Makenna asked for chicken pot pie last week and my kitchen was a disaster, so it never happened.
When I made my meal plan for this week chicken pot pie was the first thing on it and all the kids were happy.
Side note: There might be something about eating dinner out of a cup that makes dinner fun. 🤔My kids thought it was the greatest thing ever 🤷🏼♀️😂

I know you have information that will help you, but you are so busy caught up trying to find the perfect way and the perfect diet, that you end up not taking action.
You know you’re food choices make you feel like crap, yet you still eat them.
You know you shouldn’t buy the chips, or ice cream, or cookies because you find yourself eating more than planned, yet you keep buying them.
You know you have to be consistent, yet you try to blame the foods you are eating for lack of progress.
You know staying hydrated makes you feel good, yet you don’t want to drink more water.
You want results. You want change,
yet you keep doing the same things over and over again...
Why do you keep doing that?
Why are you not eating for your goals? What is stopping you?
Join us over the next 8 weeks as we focus on being consistent to finish out our year strong! Bring a friend.

As a coach I love when you find that spark and truly fall In love with the process to discover who you are and what you are capable of.

I was talking to Melissa the other day about my progress. About when I started this journey with her back in April compared to how my body is now and I don’t really mean the physical changes. We were talking about the mental aspect and how naturally lifting came to me. I never would’ve guessed in a million years that picking up heavy s**t just to put it back down would become not only one of my favorite things to do, but also an entire lifestyle. Every day I’m in the gym and it’s just become second nature. So I wanted to share some progress pictures starting from April to now. During this process, I have fully recovered from childbirth (it was rough mentally and physically) and maintained breastfeeding my now one year old. Ive developed and implemented new, healthy routines that I rely on daily for my mental health.
This has been such an amazing journey so far and I’m only just beginning. Can’t wait to see how I continue to grow and change!

When I’m stressed it’s so easy to grab for the quick fix foods that feed me in an instant, but these foods honestly don’t make me feel good.
I feel my best when I’m eating simple, nutritious things. I have more energy and I feel satisfied longer. And while it’s easy to grab those things I’m taking control back NOW and getting back to what makes me feel good. No more crap. No more excuses.
Step one— owning it.
Step two— making a meal plan
Step three—-put it to action.
There is A LOT going on right now we can’t control, but I can control the food I put in my body.
Do you accountability? Hope on my new 8 week challenge starting Monday!! Message me for details.
