Part of being human is the feeling you want what you want when you want it. Combine that attitude with having less patience and appetite for change as you get older and you have a recipe for disappointment when plans change or get cancelled.

Tomorrow I was supposed to leave on an epic hiking adventure but unforeseen circumstances have caused me to pivot. Now, I am headed on a biking and kayaking adventure in Vermont next week. It's a thousand times better than sitting home and feeling sorry for myself.

At the beginning of the month I posted a squat video and told you squatting is one of the best strength exercises you can do on a regular basis. Well, you need to stretch those muscles too, Wise Goddess. The pictures below show you several ways to lengthen your quadriceps (tops of thighs).
