Spoke with the people planting in the rain garden in Recreation Park. They should be done planting today. Grass seed in November. White swamp oaks and sycamore trees have been or will be put in. A company will be hired to maintain the garden. As we know from our own yards it takes a while to fill in. We are watching for what happens after it rains to see if it needs anymore grading. The ridge has been leveled and the city put crushed rock down. Sorry probably a technical rock type.
