It was great to have Canadian Valley Technology Center students from the Service Careers - Building and Grounds Maintenance program in Chisholm Trail Park today with Yukon Parks and Recreation staff for some hands-on learning experience and volunteer service. We can't wait to see their impact on the world when they complete the program. Thank you, CV Tech, for your volunteer service in the park! Last week, several individuals entered Taylor Park and began doing donuts in the grass. It may have been fun for a while—until one of the vehicles got stuck and the Yukon Police Department stopped by to issue citations.

We appreciate the Yukon Police Department for responding and helping address the situation.

As a reminder, vehicles are not permitted on park grass or fields. Please keep vehicles on designated roadways and parking areas in accordance with City Ordinance Sec. 78-5.

Let’s help keep our parks safe, usable, and damage-free for everyone to enjoy.

Registration for Chill Your Cheeks is now open! Lace up your running shoes and join us on Saturday, November 21, as we kick off Opening Night of Christmas in the Park.

Racers can choose between a 5k and a 1k Jingle Walk. Entry fees apply for the 5k, but the 1k Jingle Walk is completely free. Register online at https://tinyurl.com/ChillYourCheeks or stop by a Yukon recreation center to sign up and join this festive Yukon tradition.

Bring your "date" and create a feast with other couples. Each month will have a different theme! After dinner, enjoy a relaxing stroll through City Park.
