🚔 How can police turn data, research and experience into a more effective policing?

, in partnership with the Kosovo Police (KP), has put this approach into practice through a three-phase Evidence-Based Policing (EBP) programme, bringing together 75 police officers and managers.

📌 Leading with evidence: equipping senior police managers to make informed strategic decisions and set priorities.
📌 Turning knowledge into action: helping middle managers apply practical tools to address real policing challenges, from domestic violence and road safety to community security.
📌 Building expertise for the future: preparing KP trainers to share knowledge and strengthen internal capacities for sustainable learning.

Through hands-on exercises, real-life scenarios and collaborative problem-solving, the programme connects research, intelligence, operational data and community perspectives to improve how policing responses are planned, implemented and evaluated.

🤝 Building on the KP's existing Intelligence-Led and Community Policing approaches, this initiative is about making evidence part of everyday policing decisions.

🚦Safer roads, safer communities!

supported the installation of traffic cameras in Cernicë/Cernica village of Gjilan/Gnjilane municipality, funded by Norway, to assist community safety initiatives of Local Public Safety Committees (LPSCs).

👮Initiated by the local LPSC in co-operation with the Kosovo Police (KP) and supported by the municipality, the installation is helping KP in their work, highlighting their value not only for road safety but also for supporting police investigations and strengthening crime prevention.
