Great ideas deserve to be shared. And so do the lessons learned along the way.

Across Europe, tourism businesses, destinations and organisations are finding innovative ways to become more sustainable, resilient, inclusive and digitally advanced.

PHOENIX 4.0 wants to showcase these initiatives, and yours could be one of them!

We are launching an open call for submissions to Pathway Pioneers, a European collection of tourism best practices aligned with the EU's Transition Pathway for Tourism.

🔎 What are we looking for?

Inspiring initiatives that demonstrate practical solutions in areas such as:

🌿 Sustainability, climate action and circular economy
💻 Digital transformation and innovation
🤝 Community engagement and inclusive tourism
💪 Resilience, skills development and cross-sector collaboration
🌍 Responsible destination management and visitor experiences

Not every success story starts with success! We are equally interested in initiatives that have faced challenges, adapted their approaches and found solutions. Lessons learned are just as valuable as achievements.

Startup World Cup Kosovo 2026 - what an important step for Kosovo’s startup ecosystem. 🚀🇽🇰

By becoming the Official Country Partner for Kosovo and bringing Startup World Cup to the country, Prishtina REA created a new direct gateway for Kosovo startups to international investors, venture capital networks, global business leaders and opportunities that are often difficult to access from a small market.

The importance of this goes well beyond one competition or one winner. It is about positioning Kosovo’s founders inside a global startup platform, creating international exposure and giving promising companies from our ecosystem a credible route toward the rooms where capital, partnerships and future growth opportunities are created.
