REFRESHER TRAINING & PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
All Hi-Tech Barberton Security Officers carrying company-issued fi****ms successfully completed their Regulation 21 mandatory annual refresher training and practical assessment. The compliance training was conducted by Jacques Rosslee at Ultra Ultimate Security – Barberton Security & Firearm Training Centre. This training ensures full legal competency, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical firearm handling. A special congratulations to our top-performing officers, Jabulani Mhlongo and Mishack Madalane, who achieved the highest scores in firearm handling and received their Regulation 21 certificates. Well done to all involved for maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.

NOTICE FROM PSIRA REGARDING BOOKINGS.

Dear Valued Stakeholder,

Please be informed that, following the challenges recently experienced by clients when making online bookings for branch visits, the Authority has implemented the following interventions to address these issues:

• The system will now open booking availability for up to three (3) days at any given time. This arrangement may be amended as necessary.

• Booking slots will open earlier each day, from 06:00

• Time slots that are fully booked will be disabled and clearly marked as “Fully Booked,” thus reflecting the current interface. Once a booking is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, rescheduled, or transferred to another person.

• A user will not be able to schedule another booking until seven (7) working days have passed since their previous booking.

• Bookings must be made by the security service provider personally. It is not permitted to make a booking on behalf of another person. Bookings must be made from the security service provider’s own device. If the system detects multiple bookings originating from a single device or IP address, it will automatically block such activity.

• Each service provider is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their booking credentials. The sharing of credentials with any other person is strictly prohibited, as this may constitute a security risk.
These measures are aimed at ensuring that booking slots are distributed more evenly and that availability is increased for all clients.
The Authority remains committed to implementing ongoing improvements to enhance user convenience and overall service experience.
