🎣🔥 FRANCOIS IN SESSION AT DONALDSON DAM! 🔥🎣

Francois is currently enjoying a great session at Donaldson Dam, and he’s already managed to put a couple of absolute stunners on the bank! 😎🐟

For this session, we prepared a custom groundfeed mix specifically to his liking, consisting of:

🎣 Tigernuts
🎣 Buckwheat
🎣 Hempseed
🎣 Crushed Tigers

The mix was perfectly prepared and preserved to ensure it stays fresh and ready to fish for the entire week on the bank. 👌

His hookbaits of choice are currently producing the goods:

🔥 Lunker Honey Tiger, topped with half a Mulberry Pop-Up
🔥 Mulberry Pop-Up fished on its own

And judging by the results so far…the carp are definitely approving! 💪🎣

Great fishing, quality preparation and awesome baits doing what they do best!

The session is only halfway through, so we can’t wait to see what else Francois manages to put on the bank! 👀🔥

Keep them coming, Francois Reynecke ! 🎣🎣🎣

🎣🔥 LUNKER SKITZO BLACK TIGERS 🔥🎣

Lunker Skitzo Black Tigers have been responsible for countless captures, and it’s easy to see why! 😎

The combination of our secret sweet Skitzo flavour and naturally sweet Black Tiger Nuts creates a hookbait that carp simply struggle to resist.

Fish them your way:
🎣 Straight from the tub
🎣 Drilled with a sighter
🎣 Topped with artificial maize or another visual sighter

Whichever presentation you prefer, the Skitzo Black Tigers have proven themselves time and time again. 💪🐟

Sometimes keeping it simple is all you need…

Lunker Skitzo Black Tigers — proven on the bank. 🎣🔥

🎣🔥 Sometimes, it’s about more than just putting fish on the bank.

It’s about spending time with like-minded people who share the same passion, dedication and love for our sport. Those moments on the bank, the laughs, the stories and the memories made together are truly food for the soul. ❤️🎣

And then, of course, there’s the actual food! 😎🔥🍖

There’s just something special about gathering around the fire after a long day, enjoying a proper meal together and talking about the session.

The fish are always the goal, but it’s the friendships, good food and unforgettable moments around the fire that make these adventures so much more than just fishing.

This is what it’s all about. 🎣🔥🍻

This is exactly what we want to see when our feed hits the water! 👀🔥

As the mix starts working, it creates an awesome cloud throughout the water column, releasing fine food particles, oils and attractants into the surrounding area.

That cloud helps spread the attraction beyond the feed itself, creating a trail of scent and suspended particles designed to grab the attention of passing carp and draw them towards the feeding zone. 🎯🐟

And while the cloud is doing its job, the heavier particles remain on the bottom, giving the fish something to investigate and feed on once they arrive.

Visual attraction. Scent. Food signals. All working together. 💥

Sometimes you don't need to wonder what your feed is doing underwater… you just need to watch it work. 😎🎣

🎣🔥 A NEW PB FOR JOHN! 🔥🎣

After a long wait, John finally got the bite he had been waiting for and landed himself a stunning NEW PERSONAL BEST! 🥳💪

What makes this capture even more special is that it came on a brand-new bait currently being tested and set to hit the market within the next month. 👀🔥

With this fish having a very small mouth, presentation was key — but it simply couldn’t resist the new wafter, fished over a feed mix of matching boilies and liquid attractant. 🎯🎣

Another great result during testing, and another fish proving that something exciting is on the way from Psycho Baits. 😎

Massive congratulations on the new PB, John! 🥳👏

May this be the first of many more PBs to come! 🎣🔥

🎣🔥 WHAT A WEEKEND AT THE DONNIES MONSTER CARP CHALLENGE! 🔥🎣

What an incredible weekend on the bank!

Team Essential Angling managed to finish in 4th place despite some seriously challenging conditions, with the carp starting to spawn and making us work for every opportunity.

A massive shoutout to Wayne Goosen for hosting an incredible event. 👏🎣 We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and will definitely be back for the next one!

To our team — Juan, Derrick and John — once again you showed that perseverance pays off. 💪🔥 Never giving up, staying focused and pushing right until the end. Proud of you boys!

🏆 A huge congratulations to the winners on a well-deserved victory! What an awesome achievement in some very challenging conditions.

We would also like to congratulate every team and angler who competed this weekend. It was great sharing the bank with so many passionate anglers, and the sportsmanship and determination shown throughout the competition made it an event to remember. 👏🎣

A huge thank you also goes to Kobus KC Cornelissen for being there to capture the weekend for us. 📸🎥 We’re extremely excited to see all the photos and video footage and to share some of the action from the weekend with everyone!

Thank you to everyone involved for another memorable weekend on the bank.

Team Essential Angling 🎣🔥
