🎣 3 BEAUTIFUL COMMONS — AIDAN ROSSOW AT FLORIDA LAKE! 🎣

Specimen 101 Baits Field Tester Aidan Rossouw put the bait to work during two quick sessions at Florida Lake, resulting in 3 beautiful common carp. 🎯🐟

Aidan kept his approach simple but effective, fishing at approximately 70 metres in depths of 1.5–1.7 metres.

🎯 Hookbait: Specimen 101 Baits Particle Factor Wafter tipped with an Ibhooks Fake Prawn, fished over a PVA bag packed with hobolife Red & Black Krill Pellets.

The pellets were infused with:
🔥 hobolife New Red Hot Chilli Oil
🦐 hobolife Active Krill Smart Liquid
🥥 hobolife Active Coconut

The rigs were kept equally refined — a Ronnie Rig constructed with 30 lb Ibhooks Fluorocarbon and an Ibhooks Long Shank #6 Straight Point Hook.

Two quick sessions, three quality commons, and another solid result for Specimen 101 Field Tester Aidan Rossow. 💪🎣

🎣🎣 FROM PAPGOOI TO SPECIMEN — TYLER BACKOS’ JOURNEY WITh Specimen 101 Baits FIELD TESTER Jw Griesel

Every angler has a starting point. For Tyler Bacos, that journey began at Bass Valley Fun Fishing, where he was still fishing papgooi and knew very little about specimen fishing.

That all changed when he met Specimen 101 field tester Griesel at the dam.

JW took the time to share his knowledge, teach Tyler the fundamentals of specimen fishing and introduce him to Specimen 101 Particle Factor Boilies. From there, Tyler’s confidence began to grow — and so did the results.

At Willow Waters, Particle Factor helped Tyler land his first major PB — a 6.5kg carp. JW then invited him to fish Homestead, where Tyler went on to smash his PB three times in a single night, using Particle Factor Boilies and Wafters.

The journey continued at Bergsig, where a 48-hour session produced four carp, all over 8kg, followed by another PB — a 12.7kg carp at Donaldson Dam during an overnighter.

Then came Aqua Paradiso.

After hearing stories of anglers blanking for weeks, Tyler’s first session ended in disappointment. But he didn’t give up. He kept learning, kept believing and kept trusting the process.

On his second 48-hour session, everything came together — three carp landed, including a new Mirror Carp PB. 🎣❤️

But Tyler’s journey is about far more than weights and PBs.

It’s about guidance, trust, friendship and passion. It’s about one angler taking the time to help another, passing on knowledge and giving a young angler the confidence to keep pushing forward.

JW didn’t just help Tyler catch carp.

He helped introduce him to a passion — and a journey that continues to grow with every session.

🎯QUICK SESSION. QUALITY RESULT. 🎯

Specimen 101 Field Tester Danny Keyser put the Protein Factor to work on a quick morning session at a private venue.

Fishing from 06:00–10:00, Danny found his spot and accurately dropped his rig by boat. He used a very basic hair rig, with Specimen 101 Baits Protein Factor Boilies presented using the Mousetrap Method in the margin. A few boilies were scattered over the area, with some crushed boilies added to a PVA mesh bag.

The result? 🎣🔥

A stunning 9.2kg Common Carp!
