Some may call it small...a guppy... And they wouldn't be wrong, but after sacrificing all my fishing time for the last year to focus on Specimen 101...holding a beautiful carp in my arms again was a truly priceless feeling.

On a spontaneous quick session with old friend and master angler Jeff Hughes the Protein Factor boilies, hardened hookbaits and new Specimen 101 pop-ups did not disappoint.

We chuckled while taking photos as we don't usually take pics with the smaller fish but he looks at me and said "you know that's someone's PB hey", and that immediately got me remembering my start in the game all those years ago and while releasing the little fighter back into the lake, a fire in me was reignited... All I can say is that this budget kit is going to work this winter 🔥🔥🔥🔥
