🌊 2026 Sea Harvest Grommet Games | Champion of Champions Wrap-Up! 🏆
What an absolute jol down at Muizenberg today! We had Cape Town Surfriders and Cape Winelands go head-to-head in a fantastic day of surfing. The waves might have been a small 1-to-2-foot onshore, but our groms from under 8 all the way up to under 16 showed incredible stoke and pushed through some super fun conditions.

‘4TH IN THE WORLD 🇿🇦 Sam Christianson is a world finalist and copper medallist at the ISA World Longboard Championship in Surf City, El Salvador 🥉🔥

Sam surfed his way through the main draw and into the Men’s Final, alongside three former and current world champions:
1. Benoit ‘Piccolo’ Clemente (PER) 17.30
2. Tony Silvagni (USA) 16.10
3. Edouard Delpero (FRA) 15.73
4. Sam Christianson (RSA)

We are so proud and stoked for you, Sam. Top four in the world. What a week.

Congrats Linnie👏🏽👏🏽

Congrats to Kom’s Linnie Ash who won the 2026 kneeboard surfing world championship!
Linnie Ash, a Kommetjie local, won the World Ladies Championship at the Kneeboard Surfing World Titles 2026, hosted during 22-30 August 22–30 at Itaúna Beach in Saquarema, Brazil.

More than 100 surfers from 12 countries (South Africa, Australia, USA, France, New Zealand, Portugal, Brazil, the UK, Venezuela, Canada, Ireland and Mexico) competed for the top spot in categories ranging from juniors (up to 19 years old), pros, veterans and immortals (over 70 years old).
