Do you have a heart of gold AND second hand weight training equipment lying around you want to donate to this dedicated TOP runner with potential he doesn't quite believe he has?

Siwa is a security guard and gave up a life of drinking and partying 2 years ago, for a life dedicated to being a better version of himself. He does all the work and invests financially in his own betterment - all the motivation is within him. His marathon PB is a sub 3 and he ran just over 4 hours at Two Oceans Ultra this year - unfortunately he missed getting an entry for Comrades but watch out 2027 - here he comes!

Despite his circumstances and inability to join a gym, he makes it happen and puts his money where his mouth is.

Please DM if you want to help this brother out with some additional strength training equipment or even some personal training!

A huge congratulations to our For The Long Run 21km athletes who ran like the wind yesterday! 🌊🏃‍♂️

With the support of Totalsports and the incredible energy of the Two Oceans Marathon, it was truly a day to remember.

Since October 2025, these athletes have been showing up and putting in the work under tough conditions like disabilities, injuries, resources, crime and unemployment in Fisantekraal — a real testament to their grit, discipline, and determination.

From first-time runners like Thero conquering his first ever 21km to Tsibo smashing his PB and comfortably securing a silver medal… what an achievement. This youngster is something special.

We are so proud of each and every one of you — this is what resilience looks like. 💙
