This year’s challenge pushed participants to harness the power of AI to build smarter, faster, and more resilient cyber defence solutions capable of predicting, detecting, and responding to threats in real time.

Congratulations to all the winners and every team that made it to the Grand Finale at the Sandton Convention Centre. Making it to the final stage is an achievement worth celebrating!

𝙎𝙪𝙗𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙊𝙉𝙀 𝙎𝙇𝙀𝙀𝙋 𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙔!!!

You have until the 30th of April (TOMORROW) to submit your Security Summit documents that support your solution or report. This needs to be done no later than 23:59 through the Sonke platform on the SS26Hack IDEATHON Submission workspace.

You may only participate in one challenge and a team may only submit one solution

After the submission on 30 April, up next will be the Assembly Hackathon on 22 - 24 May as a qualifier for the main hackathon, 02 - 03 June 2026
