MEN’S THURSDAY NIGHT RESULTS – 18 JUNE 2026

If Week 6 taught us anything, it’s that Thursday night water polo never disappoints!

The evening kicked off with Wahooligans continuing their strong run, securing a 10–6 victory over Florida in a competitive opening encounter.

The second match was a nail-biter, with Old Ed’s edging Crusaders 10–9 in a contest where every goal mattered right to the final whistle.

Then came the drama of the night. Tridents Amphitrite and Edenvale couldn’t be separated after regular time, ending 8–8 before Tridents held their nerve to claim the shootout 5–4. 🤽‍♂️

MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE RESULTS

Three matches, plenty of goals, and another entertaining afternoon of Premier League water polo at Wahoo Aquatics Centre!

🤽‍♂️ Gauteng U19 produced a strong performance to overcome OJ Hawks 15–6, showing composure and clinical finishing throughout the match.

🤽‍♂️ The closest contest of the day saw Tuks edge Pretoria 12–10 in a hard-fought battle that remained in the balance until the final whistle.

🤽‍♂️ OJ Eagles closed out the afternoon with a 15–9 victory over Rams Elite in a match filled with intensity, determination, and some quality passages of play from both sides.

MEN’S THURSDAY NIGHT RESULTS

Last night’s action at Wahoo Aquatic Centre had a bit of everything — a thrilling draw, a dominant display, and a tightly contested battle to close out the evening!

🤽‍♂️ Florida and Wahoodlums couldn’t be separated in a pulsating opening match, finishing deadlocked at 10–10 after an end-to-end contest.

🤽‍♂️ Wahooligans were in fine form in the second game, producing a commanding performance to overcome Edenvale 12–4.

🤽‍♂️ The final match saw Old Ed’s dig deep to secure a hard-fought 9–7 victory over a determined CGA U16 side that pushed them all the way.

WINTER LEAGUE RESULTS

Another night of quality water polo unfolded at Wahoo Aquatic Centre as teams battled it out in Week 4 of the Winter League!

🤽‍♂️ OJ Eagles continued their strong form with an impressive 19–5 victory over Gauteng U19, combining disciplined defence with clinical finishing.

🤽‍♂️ Tridents Poseidon followed suit in the second match of the evening, producing a commanding performance to defeat OJ Hawks 19–7.
