Sarah Turay continues to prove that true talent and resilience always rise above challenges. Despite the distractions surrounding her just a month ago, she has shown strength, focus, and undeniable quality on the pitch.

With her exceptional talent, she also emerged as the highest goal scorer in the just concluded WAFU U-17 Women’s Tournament in Liberia—an achievement that speaks volumes about her sharpness and attacking brilliance.

Earning a call-up to the U-17 World Cup qualifiers is not just deserved—it’s a statement. Sarah is not only back, she’s ready to make a difference, bring energy to the squad, and showcase her brilliance on a bigger stage.

Koya Queens is proud, and the nation should be excited—Sarah Turay is set to create something special.

OFFICIAL APPRECIATION MESSAGE

Koya Queens Football Club wishes to extend our profound appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to all those who stood by us during this challenging period.

First and foremost, we express our sincere thanks to the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Mr. Babadi Kamara, the Acting Secretary General Ing. Mohamed Benson Bawoh, and the entire SLFA team for your timely support, guidance, and fatherly care.

Our appreciation also goes to the Marampa Mines Women’s Premier League Board, the Secretary General ESQ Angela Gabidon, the Media Head Madam Humu Kultime, and your dedicated team for your continuous concern and assistance.

To our beloved Mummy, Haja Ramatulai Kamara, thank you so much for your love, prayers, and unwavering support.

We further extend our gratitude to the North West Regional Chairman Mr. AOT and his executive, and to the Koya FA Chairman Mr. Hassan for your solidarity and encouragement.

To all the eleven Premier League female teams and the various division clubs who reached out with care and concern—your support means a lot to us.
To our wonderful fans, we love you all and appreciate your constant prayers and motivation.

The team is gradually recovering from the pains, injuries, and shocks. Our Secretary General, who sustained major external wounds, is still admitted at 34 Military Hospital and responding positively to treatment. Others, including the Team Manager (who also served as the driver), the Media Officer, and our Team Captain, are still experiencing pains and require proper medical care.

We thank everyone for standing with Koya Queens FC during this difficult moment. Your unity, kindness, and support continue to strengthen us.

Yours Faithfully
Joseph Savee Conteh
