The MountCo Distance Challenge is kicking off this November. Run as far as you can and earn your spot in the Top 100!

You have from 31 October to 30 November to accumulate as much distance as you can.
Race for your spot in the Top 100 and earn a goodie bag.
Place in the Top 10 and win big!

The MountCo Vert Challenge LEADERBOARD RESULTS

Our Top 3 Ladies are:
1.) Charmaine Lamprecht - 65 353m (New Record Overall Winner)
2.) Hanlie Schamrel & Cindy Viljoen - 64 042m (Joint second place)

Our Top 3 Men are:
1.) Jacques Mouton - 51 825m
2.) Combrinck van Wyk - 45 467m
3.) Jason Berry - 42 228m

For the first time ever 7 out of the top 10 over all placings belonged to ladies, all having climbed over 40 000m of elevation gain.

Collectively the Community climbed
2 765 839m of actual Vert according to the final leaderboard, with everyone in the top 100 climbing more than 9 900m 🤠
That's really an amazing achievement. Well done to you all🙌

Team MountCo takes on ACVV Business Relay

We had 3 teams representing this year:
• MountCo Los Maakers
• MountCo Goats
• MountCo Summit Squad.

Team MountCo Los Maakers finished third overall running their 6 km in 25:53. Congrats guys!

MountCo Vert Challenge

It's our final day of the vert challenge and the battle is on! 🤠
Our Top 3 Overall positions belong to the ladies with a staggering amount of elevation gain. Cindy is our first lady to hit 60 000m of elevation but Hanlie and Charmaine are close behind.
It's been incredible to see just how tough these ladies are!

The fight is not over yet for anyone whether Top 20, Top 50 or Top 100. Assume that everyone has their extra vert through our two options of buying from MountCo and donating to the VK Backabuddy Campaign (800m extra).
Remember the challenge closes at 11pm tonight 🙌🏻

The Women are Dominating

For the first time in MountCo Vert Challenge history we are seeing women in the Top 5 overall places on our leaderboard!

If they continue with these levels of vert they will beat the 50 000m of the mens winner from last year.

We are here for this and loving it!
