SOUTH AFRICAN DANCE BOARD & SOUTH AFRICAN THEATRE INDUSTRIES CHAMBER TO HOST GAUTENG CORRIDORS STAKEHOLDERS CONSULTATIVE ENGAGEMENTS.

The South African Dance Board (SADB) & South African Theatre Industries Chamber (SATIC) is proud to announce a series of corridor stakeholder consultative engagements to be held across corridors of Gauteng: Sedibeng, Tshwane, Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni and West Rand. As both central umbrella bodies for dance & theatre development, the SADB as well as SATIC are committed to ensuring that their national mandate is grounded in the specific needs of local communities.

These consultative engagements are designed to be a bridge
between the art community and the resources needed to thrive. By visiting each corridor, the SADB & SATIC aims to gather direct information to advocate more effectively for policy regulation, funding, and infrastructure support from government and private stakeholders.

Attendees can expect a day featuring a line-up of amazing guest speakers, industry experts and veterans who will give exclusive insights on sector development and professional standards within their regions.

These engagements are a vital platform for the dance & theatre community to come together. This tour is about more than just conversation; it is about creating an environment that provides the resources, knowledge, and opportunities our dancers and theatre makers deserve to succeed within the dance & theatre sector.

The consultations will follow a focused four-hour programme designed to maximize engagement and networking.
