Van Rensburg Racing

Unfortunately, due to the worsening weather conditions, racing at The Rock Raceway Oval has been cancelled. ⛈️ The first heat was raced in wet conditions, but with continued rain and thunder, racing could not continue.

A quick update on our drivers - Heat 1:
🏁 1660s || Chané Charlize Van Rensburg started 7th and finished 5th.
🏁 Stockrods || Charl started 11th and finished 8th.
⚡ Johnny unfortunately couldn’t take to the track due to an electrical issue with his 8-Valve Midget.

The weather had other plans today, but we'll see you all at the next race! 🏁

First laps, family time and plenty of smiles! 🏁

Jannie’s new car finally hit the track today for its first practice session. Lots of hard work coming together! 💪🤩

It’s been a tough few weeks, and Nationals certainly didn’t come without its challenges. With no opportunity to test the car before race day, Chané went into the National Championship completely blind.

But she kept her head held high, tried to stay out of trouble and simply raced her race - bringing it home 7th overall out of 16 cars. 🏁

A result we’re proud of, especially considering everything that was thrown her way.

One thing is for sure.. she’ll be back stronger. 🔥

NATIONALS DAY! 🏁

Wishing Chané the best of luck as she takes on the National Championship at Ultimate Raceway today! 🏆🔥

Go out there, do your best, and most importantly enjoy the racing!

No matter what happens today, we are already incredibly proud of you! 🏁

JP Van Rensburg wasn’t just an oval track legend - he was a husband, a father, a grandfather, a friend, and a man who left his mark on so many lives.

Racing was his life. He lived for it. Anyone who knew him knows that you could never go to the track without seeing him walking through the pits, greeting everyone, stopping for a chat, sharing a laugh and somehow always making his presence felt.

Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the stories, and the legacy you gave our family. Thank you for the love and passion you had for something that became such a huge part of all our lives.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever a Van Rensburg Racing legend.

Rest in peace. 💔🕊️ #66

I gave it everything I had, but there’s some work to be done on the car as we prepare for Nationals on 5 September at Ultimate Outlaws - Raceway. 💪

Massive thanks to my dad Jannie Van Rensburg for all the work he puts into my car, Rubyn De Witt for always helping and to every single one of my sponsors for making this possible. Your support means more than you know! 🧡
