Whether you walk, jog, run, volunteer or simply enjoy the morning together, parkrun is about so much more than kilometres. It's about friendship, encouragement, and sharing moments that make us all feel a little more connected.

This July, invite someone to experience the parkrun community with you. You never know – one Saturday morning could become the start of a brand new tradition.

Tag the friend you'll be bringing along, and let's make this International Friendship Day one to remember. 💛

Paarl parkrun Event #444, 18 July 2026,

Since it was our 444th event, the core team decided to celebrate it by dressing up and what great fun it was. Thank you to the volunteers who joined in as well.

This week 431 people braved the cold weather and ran, jogged and walked the course. The event was made possible by 23 volunteers.
