Tiaan Van Der Bank we wish you safe travels and good Bowling in the U35 Nationals. You always make us proud and the Woodsies are behind you!

NO STRANGER TO THE BIG STAGE

When it comes to the U35 Nationals, Tiaan van der Bank knows his way around.

Having played U35 on numerous occasions, Tiaan brings plenty of experience to this year’s Eastern Province side. He’s also no stranger to the EP Open side, where he plays lead, and earlier this year he took on the responsibility of skipping the U25 side.

Different teams, different challenges, but the same competitive spirit.

Now it’s time for another U35 campaign.

Welkom, Tiaan is coming.

The Woods Annual Men’s Classic was held at the end of August, and we would like to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make the tournament such a success.

A special thank you to our generous sponsors, Edge Financial Group, Noorsveld Chicken, Chapman Hotel, Supa Value and The Bowls Shop – Port Elizabeth. Your support means a lot to us and is greatly appreciated.

We would also like to thank Gary Vermaak and his team for all the time, effort and work that went into organising the tournament. It takes a lot behind the scenes to put an event like this together, and we really appreciate everything you did.

To all the players who took part, thank you for supporting the tournament and for making it such an enjoyable and competitive weekend. It was great to see everyone out on the greens.

And finally, congratulations to our winning team of Ian van Heerden, Hilton Cherry, Shaun Cherry and Carl Vermeulen. Well played, gentlemen.

Thank you once again to everyone who played a part in making the Woods Annual Men’s Classic a memorable event. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming everyone back next year.
