September is Su***de Prevention Month.

So this is for the person who is exhausted from fighting a battle nobody else can see.

The person who says “I’m tired” because explaining how bad things really are feels impossible. The person who answers “I’m fine” because they don’t want anyone to worry. The person who has convinced themselves that everyone would be better off without the weight of their problems.

Stay through tonight. Stay through the thoughts telling you that nothing will change. Stay even if right now you have no idea what you’re staying for.

You do not need to have your life figured out. You do not need to pretend you’re okay. You do not need to earn your place here by being easy to love or easy to help.

September is Su***de Prevention Month, but people need us to notice, listen and care every month of the year.

There will be a loss that changes the way you understand loss.

Someone will die who was so built into your life that you never really imagined a future without them. And suddenly you’re not only grieving the person you lost. You’re grieving everything that was supposed to happen with them still here.

The birthdays. The ordinary phone calls. The Christmases. The milestones you assumed they’d see. All the stupid little conversations you thought you had years left to have.

You knew people died before this. You knew grief was painful.

But knowing someone can die and knowing what it feels like when it’s your person are two completely different things.

How you treat people always finds its way back to you. You can’t build your own peace on top of someone else's pain it just doesn't work that way.

The energy you throw into the world, good or bad, always knows the address home.
Lead with kindness. Not because you're expecting a reward, but because you deserve to live with a clean heart and a quiet mind.

The burden of atopic eczema isn’t always visible - but that doesn’t make it any less real. ❤️‍🩹

From my own experiences in few weeks I can attest to this and its been quite stressful.

Diabetes has become South Africa’s leading recorded cause of death, with Statistics South Africa reporting more than 27,000 deaths linked to the disease in 2023. The figures highlight the growing burden of diabetes and other non-communicable diseases on the country’s population and healthcare system.

Health authorities have warned that the impact extends beyond diabetes itself, as the disease can contribute to serious complications affecting the heart, kidneys, eyes and nerves. The latest figures are likely to intensify calls for earlier diagnosis, better disease management and stronger prevention efforts.
