A group of my NSKF East London students attended an international karate tournament over the weekend..a junior bronze medal 🥉 and senior gold medal 🏅 brought back for the team. Both medals in free fighting/kumite category.

Much has happened over the last week. I was approached by Desmond sensei of NSKF South Africa to take over the leadership of a dojo in East London. I have accepted. I have also continued training with the local JKS Stutterheim karateka.

🥋 This week at the dojo, we delved deep into Bunkai, and the fundamentals of foot stances and transitions!
Our training sessions were all about perfecting our techniques and understanding the application of each move. Bunkai allowed us to unlock the hidden meaning behind the Kata's sequences, making our practice even more meaningful and effective in real-life scenarios.
With each class, we're becoming more disciplined and confident. Keep up the great work everyone. Oss! 🥋
