There is a big difference between simply placing your hands on a student and offering an adjustment with knowledge, intention and care.
In this hands-on adjustment workshop, we went far beyond memorising techniques. We explored how to truly see the individual body in front of us, understand what it needs and choose whether an adjustment is helpful at all.
After more than 12 years of teaching yoga, I know that confident and meaningful adjustments come from experience, anatomical understanding, sensitivity and presence. They are never about forcing a body deeper into a pose. They are about offering support, stability, direction and sometimes simply a sense of being seen.
We practised:
✨ Reading different bodies and recognising individual needs
✨ Using clear, safe and intentional touch
✨ Understanding pressure, direction and hand placement
✨ Supporting alignment without forcing the pose
✨ Respecting consent, boundaries and personal space
✨ Adjusting with confidence while remaining intuitive and present
What made this workshop so special was the atmosphere. We learned seriously, practised with curiosity, asked questions, exchanged experiences and also laughed a lot.
This is the kind of learning I believe in: professional but personal, detailed but practical, rooted in knowledge and brought to life through real teaching experience.
Thank you to every teacher who joined, trusted the process and practised with such care. Your future students will feel the difference. 🤍
