The test classes did exactly what they were meant to do: show us what works, what feels clunky, and where small changes can make the whole Strength Lab experience even better.
We learned A LOT. And we’ve already started fine-tuning 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Coming next:
• Demo later in the class, right before the strength blocks, so you see the exercises when you actually need them
• Dynamic Prep based on the actual 6 exercises in that day’s programme, so you can practise the technique before adding load
• Plyo + Power happening in two groups and then switching, which gives us more time for coaching, demos and set-up
• More and clearer screens and station labels, with every exercise numbered so the flow is much easier to follow
• Exercise name, primary movers and 3 simple cues shown on the screens
• Rep ranges written clearly at each station
• Heavy/tall and lighter/shorter set-ups where needed, so the same programme works better for different bodies and strength levels
• More of the most used attachments and weights to avoid wait-times or compromises
• A few very unglamorous but very useful room tweaks
• Weekly Intro-to-Weightlifting workshops that teach complete newbies some weightlifting basics
• And probably the biggest one: more emphasis on *rest*
Less rushing. Less feeling like you need to constantly keep moving. More time to lift properly, recover between exercises and let other people finish in peace.
That came through loud and clear in the test classes.
The Strength Lab is not meant to feel like HIIT or Hyrox.
It is strength training.
So we’re making the room, the flow and the coaching work harder to support exactly that.
Thank you to everyone who came and helped us test it before launch. This is exactly why we did it. 💜
