Teal ‘Best on Court’ – Taye Heselwood 🏐🩵

Taye had a fantastic game on the weekend. She showed just how dynamic and versatile she can be. She was incredible at feeding our goalies, worked hard to win the centre pass, and showed real strength and determination in her body-on-body play. What really stood out was her willingness to jump into whatever position her coach needed her in and make it work. She’s always ready to adapt, put in the work and do whatever the team needs — a true team player and a very well-deserved Best on Court! Well done Taye ✨

Last Game of the Season – Div 1 Navy 💙

The Navy team played their final game of the season on Saturday, taking home an incredible 1-goal win in an epic nail-biter against Fusion, who were sitting second on the ladder.

This team has come such a long way. Coming together for the first time this season and stepping straight into Division 1, they have brought an exceptional level of competition, determination and teamwork to the division every week. We are so proud of what this group has achieved.

🏅 Player of the Match: Julz Parkin

Julz was absolutely on fire on Saturday, leaving nothing behind on the court. She was flying through the air to collect numerous intercepts and was a standout in attack, driving the ball strongly down the court to the shooters. Her effort, intensity and determination were outstanding from start to finish.

Amazing game, Julz – so well deserved! 👏

💜 Last Game & Player of the Match – Lilac Team: Matilda Wilcox 💜

Lilac played their final game of the season on Saturday, and what a nail-biter it was! The girls fought hard right until the final whistle, going down by only 2 goals.

This team has grown so much throughout the season and should be incredibly proud of how far they have come. Their improvement, teamwork, and determination have been wonderful to watch.

Player of the Match, Matilda Wilcox, showed tremendous growth and resilience on Saturday. She consistently backed up the play, worked hard for every contest, and was always encouraging and supporting her teammates.

Congratulations, Matilda, on a well-deserved Player of the Match, and a huge well done to all our Lilac girls on a fantastic season! 💜🏐

No pressure, no need to be the best on court — just bring yourself, your friends and a willingness to have a laugh! 🙌

🏆 And yes… there’ll be semi-finals and a grand final to finish the season!

Phoenix played an incredible game over the weekend, her defensive pressure over the ball creating turnovers and her intercepts throughout the game contributing to an impressive win over their Bundaberg competitors.
