A big thanks again to the team at Goodyear Autocare - Albany for yet again lending us an event vehicle. It helps us get the gear out there for the day, helps our Race Director with marshalling the course during the event and makes getting out of there as fast as possible.

We've just been tidying things up (and getting a tiny bit of rest and family time in before work tomorrow).

Tell you what, getting to the finish line for an event like the Albany Retravision Elleker Running Festival can definitely feel a bit like this for the runners, the volunteers, and the club committee.

We're super proud today or everyone that took on the course and want to say a massive thank you for the volunteers on course.

Our race director (and club president) will be on site at 6am tomorrow to assess the conditions and we will send an email at 7am with an update.

The current conditions appear to be OK to progress.

In the worse case scenario of an event cancelation - an email and sms will be sent out and you will see a post on this page. No email and no post = we plan to go ahead.

As always, safety is the most important thing.

Occasionally stirring the amazing soup we've had prepared - and every so often popping some in a bowl for a grateful runner to replenish after the race.
