π JULY = BURGER MONTH! π
Good news... you can officially eat burgers guilt-free all month. (We're calling it community service. π)
Throughout July, we have a fundraising jar at Grill'd Shellharbour. Every time you eat there, you'll receive a token to vote for your favourite local community group.
π Please pop your token into the Albion Park Swim Club jar!
π At the end of the month:
π₯ 1st place wins $300
π₯π₯ 2nd & 3rd place each win $100
Now here's the important part...
π We won the $300 last year! π
Let's see if we can defend our title and become the reigning Burger Eating Champions! ππ
So grab your family, your friends, your neighbours, your workmates... basically anyone looking for an excuse to eat a burger... and send them to Grill'd Shellharbour this July.
Every burger tastes better when it's helping our club (and the calories don't count when it's for a good cause... we're pretty sure that's how it works! π).
Tell your friends, spread the word, and let's fill that jar with tokens!
Thanks for your support! Let's bring home another win! ππ

Coach appreciation time ππ€
We want to give a massive shoutout to the incredible SC swim coaches.
As many know, we donβt have our own directly affiliated coaches, but a large number of our swimmers train with SC Swimming, including Macey and Ollie, and we couldnβt be more grateful for the impact these coaches have on our kids.
Kelly has supported so many of our swimmers for years, and what she brings goes far beyond the pool. She treats every child like one of her own, genuinely caring for them and investing in who they are as people. Sheβs not just focused on building great swimmers. Sheβs helping shape confident, resilient, well-rounded young humans ready to take on the world. The care, dedication and belief she shows never goes unnoticed, and itβs no surprise the kids absolutely love her.
Bailey has come on as a coach this year and the impact heβs had has been huge! The kids look up to him immensely, not only because of his depth of knowledge (which comes from his own incredible swimming successβ¦ if you know, you know), but because heβs such a top-quality person. Heβs an amazing role model, and as parents, we feel very lucky our kids get to learn from him. Bailey says jump and the kids say "how high?" (can you come get them to clean their rooms?) Having faced and continuing to overcome injury himself, he shares a special bond with swimmers like Ollie, who has battled through two knee injuries and surgery. That understanding and support is just π€
There were times when others may have doubted Ollieβs return after such a serious injury (and we know some did!), but his coaches never wavered. They backed him every step of the way, kept his spirits high, and never let him lose belief in himself. That kind of support is everything!
And then thereβs Macey whose performance has absolutely skyrocketed under their guidance. Her growth, confidence and results speak volumes.
These coaches are truly something special to the kids who train with them. The relationships they build, the belief they instil, and the care they show is reflected right across all levels. We are so proud of all our Albion Park swimmers, and seeing our athletes perform on the national stage makes it even more special knowing they are guided by such outstanding coaches.
Thank you, Kelly, Bailey and all the SC Coaches! We appreciate you more than you know π
